Hi everyone, We are building a home theater in our basment and the theme is pirates. We are having some artist paint scenes from the ride in some arches I have built on the side of the theater. I need some good pics of the part of the ride right after the second fall. You know the part where the skeleton is standing up with a sword threw him and a bird on his head? I think it is called "dead man's cove" I love that part of the ride and want to have it painted but I can't seem to find any good pics anywhere. Can anyone help?

Here are some pics of the theater if anyone is interested:

I have a friend who purchased a pirate made of resin that would look great in your home theater. He found it on ebay for 450.00. Her is a picture of 2.

Ok that threw my husband over what he could take. He says he's leaving me and is moving into your house. That would be his dream Theatre. Dont worry he can cook and clean and wont leave the basement.

Keep sending pictures. It looks amazing. I cant wait to see the finished project!

WOW thank you all for the kind words. It has been quite the project. I knew I would find some love here:) Most people wonder why I am even doing this. I will have to make a separate thread about the theater so I can go into more detail. Where should I post it? Community section? Thank you tink33 and familyoffiveaz for the pics. I have seen those before. It is so hard to get a good pic of what that scene looks like in person. The artist we have picked can't remeber that part of the ride, and I can't seem to get a good one anywhere. So the search continues............

^^^i will definatley do that TwingleMum!^^^ AZMickeyFans tell your husband he is more then welcome ;) although it is etremely cold here right now. Our main water line has froze in the street. So maybe he can bring some nice warm AZ water with him.

wow, I think your theater is as big as my whole house!

Looks like a great project.

For pics, check out visionsfantastic.com. They have a picture gallery and videos of a lot of the rides. You'll have to register to see some of the stuff, but it's free and painless.

Also, here's a photo of Captain Jack as painted in the queue. I also bought a print of this from the Disney Gallery.

He's packing his bags and kissing the kids as we speak! Warm water is on it's way. He's very handy so maybe he can even help you finish. Would that be enough payment for him to live there? Maybe he can pass out the popcorn during movies?

Last summer I bought a poster print of Jack Sparrow from the print-on-demand in DL:

Here's one I took of a painting of the Black Pearl & Jack at DL:

I think that would look awesome in your theatre! pirate:

WOW!!! That is gonna be one AMAZING home theatre!! I wish we could have something like that.

Sadly, I can't be of any help with the pictures you're after (although I wish I could - that is my favourite partm of the ride too) but please do keep us upated with the theatre. You'll have to take many pics of the finished thing. Good job so far. :thumbsup2
