I need help fast with sports figures

My dgrdd is doing a project on sports figures and needs to find a couple. One needs to be from 1965 when I was a little girl. At that age I didn't know about any sports figures. Is there somewhere we could go to look it up or is there someone you admired? Also, we need info on Mike Weir and Tiger Woods. Where could we go to get that info?
Any help would be appreciated.

go to MSN.com type in Tiger Woods after that Mike Weir and then after that I would try 1965 sports figures. Hey if you can post here, you can do anything else on the Internet!!!!!
