Hi,
Ok I need help big time! Originally I thought I would plan this trip to WDW (our first) myself, then had some health issues so decided to call AAA travel agent, since I have AAA. I live in NW IA so no Disney specialists around here. Back in July or whenever the 06 rates came out I made a room only ressie thru Disney at WL for 7 nights, I still have that. When I contact the AAA agent she got me a price for room, air, park hoppers and dining, I thought it was a good price. Anyway she didn't tell me she just had it on hold for awhile and never contacted me, so that was gone, so now she has another package only $5 higher than first and that is on hold until Nov. 6. I told her that there were some codes or specials coming out and I wanted her to check those, she said she would. I called when I saw the special on this board, she's been out sick this week, I wanted to talk to someone else and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about, couldn't find my file. So guys I need help contacting a AAA Disney specialist or just a disney
specialist to get me some prices soon. Our tirp is Jan. 21. They wanted me to cancel my room ressie that I had thru disney, but I haven't done that, I want to know that I have something! I guess I'm not very good at knowing how to do this being a first timer and all. I have some special requests since it will be our DD BD while we're there, I think I really need to find someone that knows what they're doing. I know I've seen phone numbers on this board before, I would appreciate any help. Thanks, sorry for the long post, I feel desperate right now!

I understand your desperation!!!! Smart move to keep your WL ressies until you get things figured out with AAA. Sounds like you had very bad AAA TAs. They should've alerted you to the fact that your trip was indeed only on hold until you put down a payment. I would be persistent with the AAA office you booked the trip through who "lost" your file. I would even call up the 1800 number and complain. They have people to handle the complaints. If I were you, I'd go down to the AAA agency and get confirmations in print/writing. I would then call Disney to make sure your room was reserved through them before canceling your room only. I hope this helps a little. Sorry to hear of you predicament! There will be plenty on these boards who'll be able to help with their hearts and with advice!
