I found black shoes today from Walmart to go with my red dress. They were only about $6 so everything is going well!

I am fair colored with blue eyes - what color eye shadow should I wear?

I have short finger nails - won't red nail polish be a little too much red? Should I color them clear?

I have similar coloring -- very fair skin and blue eyes. I usually go with a peachy-colored blush, a kind of shimmery nude base color on my eyes with a very well-blended burgundy or maroon in the crease, and a slightly goldish shade under my brows. The burgundy color will really make your eyes pop, and will make the blue in your eyes intense. The gold kind of acts as a highlighting shade. Gunmetal gray eyeliner.

I agree with the makeup suggestions--as for the nails, I think red would be a little extreme. I would go with either a clear polish or a light peach/off white color.

A French manicure is another good option, provided your nails are long enough to make it look good. They don't need to be very long, but they can't be extremely short, either.

The French Manicure sounds like a good idea too-But your nails should be long enough, if not, a light pink would also be very pretty.

I like soonerkate's advice for eyes....practice so you don't look overdone though. Remember, a lighter hand with makeup is always better.

If your nails are really short, I'd go with a French manicure or a pinkish/blush color polish...something that won't call too much attention. If you're set on red polish, consider getting silk wraps or tips.
