I need Daddy dance song advice!

My father and I are trying to find a song that we both like for our dance together. We don't want anything too over done, like Butterfly Kisses, and we also don't want anything country.

My father and I are going to dance to a Frank Sinatra song. It immediately brings warm and happy memories of my childhood to me. Any time I hear Frank Sinatra I know it was my father who had me listen to his music and I still love it!

My advice would be for you to choose a song that instantly reminds you of your father. It doesn't have to be something talking about father and daughter. I hope that helps.

I'm dancing to What a Wonderful World/Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Big Iz with my dad, then What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong with my stepdad.

The Hawaiian version goes to my dad because Hawaii is his most favorite destination in the world, and we've traveled there numerous times on vacation

I used "Cinderella" (like Lynn mentioned before) and everyone really liked how well it fit the whole Disney wedding thing. That being said, our first dance was to Sarah McLaughlin's "The Rainbow Connection" and you might be able to use that one since it's not actually a romantic song. It's a slow waltz so it's really easy to dance to.
