I need back in!

Hello,

We went to Disneyland Paris last year for the Christmas season just for 2 nights (we went 3 other times during the same year) and this year I really miss it. I feel that longing to be back on Main street watching the Christmas Cavalcade.

So I have told DH we will be back there next year.

Looking at prices and at the moment Disneyland Paris has 2 nights and 2 days free. I would love to stay at SL Golden Forest. Is it worth it?

Our options are

SL GF room
Hotel New York standard room
Santa Fe/ Cheyenne with a lot more spending money.

What would yo do?

Lol...I understand that feeling...we will have gone 5 times in 12 months this trip...so I have a lot of beautiful memories and a lot less money.
We're only a short 4 hour drive away, it's just too tempting.

I'll be watching this as we're doing HNY standard for the first time this trip, but honestly our fav hotel is SL...and we really considered doing GF this go round, but the idea of bacon for breakfast won over my guys.

It's so difficult to decide

I'm trying to fit in a budget trip to see the christmas season as it's the only season we haven't seen. I'm absolutely desperate to go.

I started off pricing Santa Fe just to 'get there' - then I noticed that on the Dutch site there is 40% off, so the SL worked out only £70 more. Then I noticed the SL GF rooms and started pricing, but it's not that much difference from the Hotel New York, and I keep thinking we should go there again because we love it and can get a nice hot breakfast

So, now our budget trip is turning out to be a normal trip and I'm going to have to lock the credit cards away I think

Anyway, I have no idea how you can decide where to stay, I suppose it all depends on what's important. Would you rather have some more cash in your pocket or have a nicer hotel to go back to? I think the SL GF rooms look good, I like the idea of characters around at breakfast and the hotel fast pass would be a welcome bonus.

What is your trip normally like? DO you spend a lot of time in the hotel room?

Do you like t buy extra things, splurge a little?

Will you be going back, or will this be your last trip?

We would love a GF room, it would be perfect for us, but we couldn't pass up extra days for a lesser price at Cheyenne.

Aaah Leanne I'm sat here debating if we can change Jan15 to Nov14 but it would depend on if we could get APs for myself and Jem. It just is so magical at DLP in the run up to Christmas and the discussion and spoilers from this year makes me so keen not to miss next years Christmas season.
We loved SQL at winter and i think the hotel feels very cozy and Christmassy but the rooms at the SF are surprisingly good now. Maybe opt for the cheaper option and spoil Elsie with extra pressies and buy loads of decorations for your Christmas tree!

We are happy to go for as little as 2 nights 3 days as we have been to DLP so many times it is just the Christmas extras.

SL is so lovely at Christmas and probably my favourite.

SL GF rooms would be great for our crazy character hunting DD.

HNY would be nice for the hot breakfast on a cold morning.

But 2 nights is the same price as 4 at the moment. But of course more time there requires more spends.

Santa Fe is fine for us we don't mind the walk we both walk a lot here. The cars theme room DD would love. She is tow mater crazy. Means we would have more money for food so could for in some character meals. Plus we could always pay to eat at DLH (if this is still available)
