Another option is TJ Maxx or Marshalls. My daughter does yoga and we get her mats there all the time (so does her instructor)

I have tried my SIL's Gaiam one and did not like it, it seemed super thin. I have this one (Wai Lana) and love it, nice and thick and it still rolls up almost as small as SIL's. Also drugstore.com is offering free shipping on $25 orders right now. I have the black but it also comes in pink. Oh yea it's 29.99. Just checked the thicknesses for you the Gaiam is 1/8" and the Wai Lana is 1/4". Makes a huge difference to me and is worth the higher price (Gaiam is usually around $20).

Usually from thier outlet section. They always seem to have something I could use on clearance. I know others have gottan theirs at Target. But the one target mat I borrowed had a raised surface on the mat that bothered my feet by the end of the class. I like my sticky mat to be smooth.
