We had a Mickey incident, one party claims kidnapping, but it was really for his own safety - can you imagine hanging on a car in 115 heat - and it has been cold here!!
I am sure there are a million other things...
And...the hyenas are going to DL June 7th - 12th...and we are making plans...you coming???

Yes I was so excited when I got mine I even told my sixteen year old sister. But she was actually excited for me so that was a pleasant surprise.

It was great!!! I think it happened when I took DS to school this morning - I swear I always check my posts, and it sadly said DIS Veteran but when I got back - THERE THEY WERE!!! I seriously had tears in my eyes!!! I went to post that they were there, but had to go back just to double check!!! I haven't told DH yet - I wanted to ride the high a little longer!!!

Yes it happened really quick. I was in here reading a post from dizzyami she had no tags, I went and checked on some other threads came back and she was tagged! They're quick fairies they are.

Staley, the babysitting depends on whether or not you are comfortable with riding by yourself. What I mean is for baby swap before dd was tall enough to go on most things we would have to trade and ride by ourselves. It wasnt that big of a deal I didnt think. Now she comes with the swaper and the origional person so she gets to ride twice and has a blast.

I think with this group thing that we can divide up at major rides if we want to do them and the kids don''t like Tower of Terror, Indi etc. There will be enough adults to watch the kids when some go and then we can switch when they get back!

What I mean is for baby swap before dd was tall enough to go on most things we would have to trade and ride by ourselves. It wasnt that big of a deal I didnt think. POST! We're looking into how much it costs to get to DL from norway and the flights are only 800 a person! That's high but not nearly as high as I was expecting.

When you guys are going in June are you taking your kiddies out of school or will they be done then? If it's a low crowd time I might be able to convince my DH to go then instead of November.

Gee thanks for asking. Yes, it was my DH's mother. She went into the hospital Thursday night with severe adominal pains, had all kinds of tests done and sent her home. Bad choice. We had already decided to go down and visit, she lives near San Bernardino. Anyways, we arrived on Saturday, and she was still real sick, and everyone didn't know what to do, but thought she was getting better. Was hard to talk to anybody because of President's Weekend. So Dave and I went to the beach for a little get away, kind of to hang around S. California just in case. Sure enough they brought her back into the hospital, with the news that they had to operate on a block bowel, and because she was so weak, her chances for making it were not good. There is so much more, but it would take so long to explain. They did have to remove a huge portion of her intestine and told us to hope that they didn't have to back in again. Dave and I came home last night, to get a few things done, knowing that we would have to go down again this week. He just called me again a little while ago, and she is doing much better, and is even responding a little bit. And her kidneys seem to be working again. So just keep her in your prayers and thoughts. Her name is Lydia and she is almost 75 years old. Thanks for listening!!!

We arent staying on property, we are going to be at the Candy Cane Inn. I dont know, we will see. My baby gets a little bent out of shape for sitters, she hasnt had one since last march. Shes a big'ol mamas girl! Yeah, right hubba-hubba!
