I need a safari hat!

Well, I don't really need one, but that is all my soon to be 4yo talks about. He saw a map of WDW yesterday and asked where they jungle was and said he needed a fari hat. I didn't even understand what he was talking about at first because I didn't think he would know to wear a safari hat. I think he would just LOVE one but do they even sell them at WDW? If they sell them at AK, maybe I will just have to look for one there when we go. I have looked at ebay and nothing. I am sure he is talking about a plastic rounded hat with a rim, not the straw or cloth ones. My husband has some safari looking cloth hats that he had to wear over in Iraq so if nothing else, my son could wear one of them, but I am still looking for the other kind in the meantime.

Call WDW merchandising. I *think* there are safari hats in AK. I think I've seen them on carts around the park.

I did finally see one on ebay but it is an adult one. The cool thing is, it has mickey mouse ears on it too. It looks neat. So they must sell them there. Thanks.

...but in December 2006, Animal Kingdom had safari hats for sale in multiple places around the park (including on a cart just as you entered). I can't imagine they would have stopped doing so.

Everything safari related is in AK, they have hats, canteens, shirts, etc.

They have them at the park and the hotel. Exactly what you are describing.
