Okay.
So maybe Im not crazy, maybe I am.

I like a guy who cant date until 2 years from now.
I dont WANT to date until 2 years from now.
My friend wants me to tell him I like him, but dont want to go out.

I just..I mean I wanna tell him how I feel, and then everything would be easier, but...
would it REALLY be easier?

I was talking about it with my friend, and I told her the truth I said "Yah know.. Im kinda afraid he will hate me, or have something against me" "Do you remember who youre talking about!? It takes a lot to make him HATE one of his besties".

I mean, my gut is like "GO FOR IT" but, seriously whats the point of saying "I seriously like you, and youre really cute, but I dont wanna go out with you"

I mean..
Ya know?
He understands me. Thats the weird part, he understood my not believing in middle school couples, but...I just get the wrong feeling about this, yet its the RIGHT feeling.

:confused3

If he's one of your best friends, which I've kinda gathered, I'd tell him.
It would take a lot of courage, but I think that if you're really that close to him, and you want to, then go for it.

But I'm just wondering, why is 2 years the magic number for you?
Generally, middle school relationships aren't that deep, but if you guys are both mature and interested, it doesn't have to be that way.
Honestly, I don't think 2 years will make that big of a difference, if you like him so much already.

Well.
In 2 years, i will be in 9th grade (actually 3 for me 2 for him, but I can risk a year) and Its better, Im not allowed to, and I just dont see a point in "dating" secretly.

I dont know why, but since we are going to different schools for a year, he might move on, to bigger and better things.

Ohhhh, I didn't get that you weren't allowed to.
That makes sense now.

And if he's anything like you've been describing, he doesn't sound like the kind of guy to me to "move on to bigger and better things." He seems like a nice kid.

I'd say take the plunge. Even if it's just so you can be honest with him.

I was in almost the same exact thing as you last year .
I didnt do anything.. one of my biggest regrets.
Now we barley talk this year because were not in the same classes and i wish i would have done something before.

Do something about this.. dont make the same mistake as me !

Thanks.
I think I will.
If I dont go "So..uhm...err...oi...thats...a nice shirt today!?" xD

My friend told me that its pretty obvious I have a 'thing' for him, so to him it SHOULDNT be such a shock.
It might be.

Ya never know.
