I have called my points advisor 3 times in the past 3 weeks looking to add on and have yet to get a call back. I am done with Julie. Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanx

I'd suggest Randy Kruger (800)501-8671. He's been a great guide for us. I think that he's on vacation right now though. Perhaps your guide is on/ has been on vacation?

or you can just call dvc and tell them your not happy with your guide and want to purchase an add on before the price goes up, like asap today, they will find you someone, good luck with your add on:sunny:

WOW - Im assuming you are referring to Julie Hughes, she has been incredible to deal with, I'm just surprised you are having so much trouble with her. I would call and ask for her supervisor and ask what the deal is!!

In an earlier thread (maybe the one someone gave you a link to), there was a LOT of suggestions for Byron Holguson.

We use Susie Farnsworth and she goes out of her way to answer our questions and she returns calls ASAP we have also talked to Ron Brumbaugh and he is really great to that was who our inlaws used.

Another vote of confidence for Randy Kruger. He's been amazing with us...very prompt return of phone calls, always willing to answer questions. He's terrific!

I had the same problem, but with another guide. (check my other threads on DVC that I started a few days ago http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=526418) I took the advice of many, many people and used Byron and low and behold....... he found me BCV points. Now it may be a coincidence that BCV points were available, but Byron was very professional, always called right back. I'd definately recommend him! He's great! He's back in the office on Friday!:wave2:

My only face to face meeting with a guide was with Marc Turner when he was at Hilton Head. I just last year with him, but over the phone for SSR. Will all or any of the guides actually have offices right at SSR or do they work out of some offive building somewhere else & just take shift at the sales site. Anyone know?

If you are talking about Julie Hughes, she is on vacation. I think she will be back monday - it says it on her voicemail.

My guide is also Julie Hughes and I think she's wonderful. Even while she's been on vacation, I got my points at VB and the papers are in. I assumed she wouldn't be able to look during this time and was fine since I understand the need for vacation, but somehow she still got my request done. If this week alone is your first problem with her, I'd give her another chance. If you jsut don't like her, then get someone else. No one likes to deal with someone who's already mad at them and won't give them a chance. You'd both probably be better off with someone new if it's that bad. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to switch. But remember, people do go on vacation and have sick children every once in a while.

Another vote here for Susie Farnsworth!!
She got back to me within 5 minutes when I called with questions about adding on at SSR.
