sears may have it also...heads up tho, a lot of students etc are using them as an inespensive way to make a sort of motion capture device for filming...trying to hack into it. No joke, I mean, that is not completly why they are selling out, but it is a reason some are purchasing it.

My Gamestop looked like they had LOTS also, they were all empty boxes and the ones they had were reserved. I kept calling and FINALLY got one on Friday, the last one UNreserved. They did have some online but I didn't want to take the chance to have it shipped so I'm HAPPY!

Yes - I posted about this on another thread - everyone was telling me stores had lots of them on the shelves, but when I went to the stores and picked up the boxes they were empty. They put the empty boxes out as display to show they sell them, but you have to ask at the counter for the actual ones, and when you do, they will tell you they are sold out. They don't bother to take the empty display boxes off the shelves when they are out of stock. So if anyone sees them, go and actually shake the box and see if anything is in it before telling people to drive to far to go get one.

OP - I asked at my local gamestop when their delivery comes in - they get a small UPS delivery everyday. About every 3rd or 4th day they get a few Kinnects. I showed up for 3 days in a row and waited for the UPS man and waited while the manager opened the boxes. On the 3rd day, I snagged one of the 3 Kinnects they received. They are tough to get, but not as tough as the Wii was a few year ago.
