My day hasn't started well. First of all I had to fight with my children all morning to get them ready for school. While I was making their lunches, I asked one to put on his shoes, one to get her coat, and the other to comb his hair. Then, a few minutes later I check on them and *shocker* no shoes, no coat and the hair is still a mess.
Finally they're all ready and I hand them their lunches. DS 11 says they're having pizza at school and he doesn't want to bring his lunch. I told him too late, I already made this for you. Next time tell me ahead of time. Meanwhile my DD 10 is moping around. I asked her "What's wrong?" All she would say is "nothing" - and continue pouting.
Then after they got on the bus, I tried to leave for work. I can't find my car keys. I always put them in the same pocket of my purse but they aren't there. I turned the house over and looked everywhere I could think of to no avail. While I'm looking for my keys, I discover DS 11 has stuffed the lunch I made him into the dirty clothes hamper.
I ended up calling DH, who had to leave work to come home, pick me up and take me to work.
I hope it gets better from here.

- you need one. (Although I couldn't help snickering about DS12's hiding spot for his lunch
)
