OK, I just want to make sure. To eat in the parks, you must have a park ticket to enter, correct? But anyone (even without tickets) can go to Downtown Disney? Is there any other place in WDW that you can eat without having park tickets? My sis is passing through FL on my trip and wants to at least eat somewhere in the world! I will have tix, they won't. Thanks!

Correct. You cannot eat in a park unless you have a ticket for that day (or park hopper passes). You can eat at Downtown Disney without tickets as well as resort restaurants.

She can go to any of the resorts or DTD, just not the parks (without tickets.)
There are a lot of dining oppertunities.

You have to have tix for all park restaurants. But NOT at the resort and DTD restaurants.
Suggestions: Kona Cafe` is excellent, Ohana is popular, WCC is good, Boma
Those are just some of the resort restaurants. I've eaten at Kona twice and it's great!!!

THANK YOU!! :thumbsup2 I didn't even think about the resorts.....duh!!! :confused3 That will be perfect, I can take them out for a really nice dinner or maybe even do a character meal for her twin 6yos. They would love that!!!
You guys are the best!!! :worship: :worship:

She can also eat along the Boardwalk on the Epcot side - there are plenty of restaurants there.

The Hoop-De-Doo review at Ft. Wilderness. Dinner and a show. No park admission required.

And another plug for the restaurants--Boma and Jiko--at AKL. Both great.

Look at what park you'll be in that day and pick a nearby reosrt....or...check out what's at your home resort. I wasn't too big on the TS palces at most of the mods that I've tired, but most of deluxe resorts options are great.

If that doesn't work, there's the Swan and Dolphin. They are also right between HS and Epcot (on the boat line), and you should be able to get a reservation there.
