I must be crazy.....

I just booked airfare for the weekend of Jan. 21, 2005 & will be booking with MS tomorrow; I called MS today & availability isn't a problem, just about every resort has rooms.

This all happened because I had to check the Transportation Board before I went to bed last night & Disfanshan had posted that Delta & Continental had RT airfare of $135.00 a person Newark/MCO. Now how could I ignore that?

Add to that the fact that DS, 7, has never gotten to spend his birthday at DW, but big sis, DD, 18 has gotten to do it twice (including a 4 day Wonder cruise & 9 days @ SSR for her 18th B-day & HS graduation this past June) & it seemed to be a perfect fit!

Well, DS will miss one day of school ( and I don't normally like to do that ), but in this case I think it's worth it!

Just call me crazy....................Disney crazy!!!!!

While I don't like the kids to miss school either, mine did miss one day in October to go on a long weekend and attend MNSSHP. Really, one day is not a big deal, especially at such a young age. Great price on the flight! Which resort are you thinking about? Have fun planning, and Happy Birthday to your DS Lacee

Thanks for all the good wishes. I booked a 1 bdrm @ OKW; DS said he wanted the room "with the really big kitchen", & is looking forward to the new pool slide. He asked for Chef Mickey's for his birthday dinner & I was able to get the PS @ 5:20 PM...................so, we can still make it to see Wishes @ MK @ 8:00 PM.

I'm so excited that we could treat DS like this; he's a great kid!!!
