Howdy all! I'm back from a week in Orlando. I sure missed the DIS.....
My Mom, brother and I went to visit my Dad and sister at their new apt. down there. My brother and I spent 3 great days in the parks. Let me say that January is an EXCELLENT time to visit WDW. We experienced light crowds, few lines and cool weather. I loved it....
On a few rides, we didn't even get off. They let us cycle through again. We did Primeval Whirl 5 times that way....
I was hoping for DIS access during my visit, but my father's computer died the day after we arrived.....
I really didn't take many pictures either. I didn't carry much at all in the parks.
I did break down on the Tomorrowland Speedway though......LOL! Jay was in the car ahead of me and there was a woman in front of him that drove very slowly and stopped frequently. My car couldn't take all the idling and the engine stopped. Luckily a CM came to my rescue....
Jay is good friends with an Imagineer down there. We only talked with him briefly. He's working on Mission Space. On our next trip we hope to spend some more time with him and get the scoop on the new ride. As for opening, he said June looks likely.
I finally got to see the newest version of Journey Into Imagination. It's great having Figment back. I still have the song stuck in my head.
We finally tried the Sci-Fi Dine-In at MGM. We loved it! We were laughing hysterically at all the movie trailers. There were also some folks in there who must be regulars. They were yelling along with the movie at times. I can't wait to eat there again....
That's it for now. Any questions?
PS- I missed y'all.....

Sound like everyone had a great time. Welcome back.
) It's mostly along with the clip from "The Amazing Colossal Man", when they stab his ankle with the giant hypodermic needle, they yell "ARHHHHHHHHHH" When he throws it back at the 'normal' sized guy, they yell louder ARHHHHH"
I don't think I've ever eaten there where it wasn't done, I think I'd be disappointed, LOL...all part of the great atmosphere
