The other player was offering for my bat magic and suddenly yavn popped up and told the other player that he would do the trade for popcorn and tron pins! He stayed for a little and told us he had to go because there was trouble in falling chairs. Look out for yavn more often in vmk!

So yavn was stealing your deal? -.-
And it is pretty easy to fake that. If you press the button under your backspace+shift (I think it is that one...) you can type the name and what you want your person to say. I've done it, I'm not sure if I would believe you.

Think about it the whole idea yavn pops into another persons trade makes no sense. Someone was playing a joke, Shamojack is right there is a way to do it that is a trick. Two points here: first the person that
did this could get in trouble for impersonating staff and secondly for possibly scamming as that is the prime reason for interjecting a third person into a trade fooling the person that is unaware that this is not possible. Just think if Yavn told you it was a good deal or something else. Sorry, pretty sure you got punked.

Actually its very easy to do this trick.

Evidence that it is a trick:
1) Yavn doesnt trade you in public rooms he will only trade you in his rooms.
2) If Yavn was really trading you, why did you white out the name of the other trader?
3) The other trader's whited out name is too long to be Yavn's

It wasn't Yavn. I think his name is capitalized and it would have reflected that in the trade window. It was the other person playing a trick on you.

Wow thanks for telling me that the 'yavn thing' was a scam. I had no idea about the trick and worse still that people would use it to scam others. Thanks again
