I Met Rob And Fly Woot!

We have rather high standards for our Zeta Cabanaboys and I don't believe we have any openings currently. If you want to fill out an application, we can file it until we have openings.

You know something? This was a rather rude post. I didn't apply to be your cabanaboy, and I could care less of what standards you place on meeting people, but again, I had no desire for the position, so you can have your standards.

An application wont be required (I'm sure there's many lol pfft), and by the vibe of the above post, this is one meet I'll definitely be passing on.

This thread has gone way off topic. Can we go back to talking about how wonderful Rob and I are to hang with? We had a great time last Saturday at Epcot.

We were not looking for a pool boy, we just like meeting fellow Dis'ers who like to hang out at the parks as much as we do. No application required for that........

The three of us made last minute plans to meet and drink in Epcot. I ended up being late from a MK VMK card score, but they got me back for being so late by making me hunt for them, all while carrying to cervezas (I didn't want to walk back to Mexico ) and eventually, they came to my rescue as I began to feel scared and all alone.. with two beers.

The three of us spent 3 hours in the park enjoying the sights and sounds of WS.. did things like joked around with a group of drunken vikings (Fly made the mistake of telling them we all met on the internet lol), enjoyed live tunes from Moracco (sp?), and something new for me, we caught a set from The British Invasion! That was good times, I just wish they didn't play 8 days a week 9 times.

I dared Fly to jump through the water where kids play at WS, and of course, she did it, so I had to, and don't worry girls, my light up shirt has revived itself from the drenching. My shirt is cool.

We made an attempt to journey into our immaginations, but a trashcan had foiled our plot, as it stood between us and the doorway to such a place. So we officially went to Epcot, and didn't ride a thing! Is that wrong?

Thanks ladies for the good times! If you get a chance to meet these two ladies in the game, then chances are, you have just met two of the nicest people the game has to offer.

Thank you Ranch. I had a great time too. Fly and Ranch were nice enough to meet up with me after my girl friend decided to cancel the very last minute. I have met both Fly and Ranch in the past. Fly is just my girl, I always have a great time when Fly is around (although I should remember to bring my camera)!! My daughter and I have met Ranch very briefly in VMK central on a day I was meeting up with a good VMK friend and her family.
I enjoyed watching the fireworks with both of you as I had my nice glass of white. For those of you that do not know Ranch, he is a real Disney fanatic, so he was able to tell us things about EPCOT that Fly and I had no idea about.

I can't wait to plan a trip someday to WDW so that I can finally met this very sweet lady.

Yes Fly you are wonderful to hang with. I had a great time when we met in August . You were even able to use your wonderful personality to Con - I mean charm a cast member in Sir Mickey's to give you that VMK card without buying a shirt. Something I was unable to do.

For those of you that do not know Ranch, he is a real Disney fanatic, so he was able to tell us things about EPCOT that Fly and I had no idea about.

Nah.. that just comes natural as you walk around and actually pay attention to stuff like we did and see what's changed. Shoot it was a couple trips ago that I finally learned there was a draw-bridge to WS.. that was wild!

I'm still hunting down that Italy number.. I should just hang out in that area untill it plays, and then run around asking everyone if they know.. didn't work a few trips ago though.

There are a lot of boats at the docks beyond the bridge. The Friendships are all docked there and the boats used by the technicians for setting up and checking IllumiNations. There also is the globe, 4 water curtain / fireworks barges, the inferno (propane) barge, and 8 small floating fireworks platforms.

yea, Fly and Rob are fun to meet at WDW. I love hearing where Fly ends up parking to avoid the parking charges, lol. She really needs to get a real AP rather than a Seasonal. That seasonal has also caused her to miss out on quite a few meets. Met Rob as a quick hello and goodbye the day Safari Quest came out. I look forward to seeing you both on Saturday!

As for the boats, if you've got hours to spare, I think they start bringing them out around 4pm and I find it interesting to watch them get into place and set up. I also like watching the people who load the fireworks along the shore. It's fun watching the boats come so close as they load them.
