i have a question what is so great about meeting a celeb?

I just consider them ppl. A person who act for money, big sums of money. That's great that they been on the big screen or tv, but did they found the cure for cancer or help needy children....no. They may donate but have they ever meet these ppl in ethopia or the homeless right here in america, no. What do they spend there money on, not thing expect for big houses and cars and junk. they will spend 44,000 in just one clothing store.
Most of these celeb are the most nasty people you will ever meet. One example annie hathaway, my sister sat next to her in all- state choir( a special choir where a buch a ppl try out for and only the top can get in) and she said she was very rude and a snooty little adittude like the the perfect one.
i really don't think celeb are great role models either. we look at the young ones to day and how some of these kids dress, i feel like they should be standing on a corner of jersey city. If you ask these kids why do they dress like they do, they would say a celeb dress like this.
Our society is obessed with these people.There a new comerical from the pta org, a public service annoucement. a celeb says ok pop quiz and then start asking questions about tv and celebs and then they ask a question something about their kids school, but the commerical is right we know more about these people then we know about your own family.
i am sorry i have strong opinons about these things, I do just have to say there alot more to that smile of theirs.
