I met Colin Powell

He was a speaker at our convention last week. He was so nice and down to earth, just a regular guy...I was being all formal and respectuful and held out my hand to shake his and he pulled me to him and HUGGED ME and said "What's the matter? You afraid of me?" "No, Sir" i said as I was laughing. Can't wait to see that picture!! His speech was very inspiring.

He is a very nice man. He is the cousin of the Director of Admissions at the school I ised to teach at. He made a surprise visit to the school to speak to the High School students. He was very inspiring and spoke to the students about service to your country and fellow humans.

We didn't have a chance to take pictures with him, you were lucky!

Colin Powell and his wife used to attend the church where a friend of mine's father was the pastor. My friend said that both him and his wife were very nice people. My friend's father was since transferred to another church.

I was a Senior in high school during the first Gulf War, and he always inspired me. He still does.

He was a speaker at a Guest Lecture Series at the local university and I went to hear him speak. He was wonderful! How nice that you got to meet him!
