I may be a little slow responding on the 20 questions. Last night, my grandson had to be air ambulanced to the children's hospital in Honolulu. He is ashmatic and got sick (possibly with Murine Typhus from an insect bite) and may have pneumonia too. They could not get his oxygen levels up at the hospital here, so he was flown to Honolulu around midnight. I am happy to report he is stable now and in the best of care. So I don't want to be on the computer much incase they call.
And my mail server is having technical problems, so I can't send or receive email just now (they don't know how long it will take to fix) .
But I will keep checking in.
Didn't Barry offer an all expense paid trip to Hawaii to see us to the winner of 20 questions???
Most important, if you go to Universal anytime soon, please stop and see the Monsters and tell them Joshua says hi. Even as sick as he is, he is trying to convince the staff to go to Jack in the Box and get him the Universal Monsters (we have no Jack on Molokai). Now that is devotion! :D

Hi Donna,
That's awful about your grandson. I'm glad he's better though. Do you think it would cheer him up if I sent him a "get well" card?

Mahalo Renee, but I am still hoping he will be home before mail could reach him...
Things have gotten worse, we just got back from emergency room again and my granddaughter has now been air ambulanced to the same Honolulu children's hospital. They suspect she also has Murine Typhus. We are trying to get a flight to Honolulu now so we can be there for my son and his family. But everything is booked! If we do leave, I will let someone know what the answer is for the 20 questions so you guys can keep going. Sometimes life is just plain mean!

Hi MG!
Hope the emergencies are over and everyone is recuperating fine.
Here for ya!
Jim

Your family will be in my thoughts. How fustrating to have them somewhere you can't get to easily. I hear that HI has been having problems with insect bites right now, Typhus does not sound good.

Hugs, Molokai...I hope the kids are doing better!!!

I was buying my kids' costumes yesterday and I saw they actually had costumes of Frankenstein, etc. and they are packaged as "Universal Monsters" so naturally, I thought of you and your grandson!!!

Keep us updated - we'll be thinking of you!!! :)

Aloha,
We were able to bring the kids back last night. They responded well to antibiodics and asthma medicinesand are on the mend. Wish grandma could bounce back as fast!
Mahalo for your kind thoughts, I am sure they helped.
And my grandson was a Universal Monster Dracula two years ago and Wolfman last year. The Universal costumes were great. He is going to be Wolfman again this year with another brand of costume??? I had hoped he would be Frankenstein. But he seems to be fasinated with Wolfman.

I am so glad to hear that the kids are home!!!!

There is nothing worse than when your kids/grandkids are ill.

Patty
