The Boss's Husband - Howard... he is an all around Good Guy! I get him in the will!!

Friday, July 30 - Sunday, August, 8
Visit with the Boss & Boss' Husband at their home in Lake Mary for Friday and Sat.. move to Universal on Sunday.. check into RPR for 2 nights.. then move over to POFQ for 2 nights.. then finally to the Dolphin for 3 nights
Day Three Continued
We arrive at the studios and find out where all the people have been hiding The Studios are PACKED!! Wall to wall people wow glad we have FOTL First we hit up Shrek.. and that secret express line what a cool thing as the posted wait time was over 2 hours!!! This was really cool The movie was great . Now we head over to The Mummy Now.. even after reading about the ride here on the boards.. I really didnt think that it was going to be much I had no idea what to expect We head on into the express line and our cards are not swiped (we figured out that if your cards are not swiped.. the once before 3 rule was not enforced Gee Im becoming a pro already!) We walked past what looked like millions of people waiting on the regular line.. and ended up at the bottom of the steps only about a 5 minute wait we board the cars.. and off we go INCREDIBLE!! That is all I can say!! I rode this ride about a gazillion times in the next 3 days!!! I was hooked!! LOL!! We then headed over to MIB where I tried to remember all of the tips on the boards.. only problem was.. I had no idea what anything was!! LOL!! I still managed a cool 193,000 on my first time out! Sadly, I didnt score much more than that during the rest of my stay!! UGH!! Can we say LOSER!! I dont think we did much more after that other than watch the jet ski show where we once again got drenched!! Now.. even though I thought I had made a wise Shorts decision my little legs were rubbing and I was extremely uncomfortable. I needed to get back to the hotel to change my clothes I was envisioning my entire week going down the drain because I foolishly got a rash on my legs the first day out!! This is where I start to get a little cranky I tried calling the hotel from the park with the number they gave me when I checked in The phone would ring forever.. and when someone did finally answer I got put on hold for 20 minutes I would hang up and call back and the same thing would happen . We finally decide to just head on over to the hotel and find out what was going on . We got to the hotel.. and WOW.. there was a line a mile long I got onto the loews first line.. and waited for over 40 minutes to get back to the front desk. Once there I explained that I had been calling from the park and was unable to get through no explanation.. no apology.. they just checked my name.. and said that my room was ready and just to head on up.. the keys we have would open the door. Okay so a bright spot we head up I am in Tower One.. on the 6th floor (I think that was it - I stayed in so many hotels this trip I lost track!) so.. up we go down the VERY long hallway and put the keys in Red Light.. okay.. try another key Okay Red light another Red Light.. UGH!! Down we go again . Back to the front desk back to the line 20 minutes later . We have new keys (they never took back the first set ..keep this in mind for later reference) . Now I am told that they would send me my Loews first gift as an apology for all of my wasted time . Okay.. thats a little better up we go again down the long hallway (remember those thighs???) Can we say.. OUCH!! But thankfully the keys worked this time! The room was nice nothing to write home about.. but clean and available!! LOL!! My view was of I-4 but all I knew was that I could get into the shower and relieve my poor thighs!!! We had made a dinner reservation at Tchoup Tchoup It looked really pretty when we walked by it early in the day as we searched for the boat dock (and missed it completely!!!!) So we just chilled out in the room until our dinner time. My Boss was appalled at the $7.00 bottle of Evian!! LOL!! We headed down to the restaurant and were seated immediately. This place is beautiful. The food was excellent I cannot eat fish as I am allergic but My Boss and The Husband are both big fish eaters. When we sat down we were greeted by our waiter who took our drink orders we then got served some crisps by another gentleman who informed us that they were wonton and shrimp chips I asked if I could have a separate order of just the wonton ones (allergy) and he was very accommodating. (actually everyone ended up liking my chips better!) We then ordered the veggie wontons and they got something shrimp. I ordered steak for dinner my boss ordered some sort of fish.. and the bosses husband ordered salmon. They have an army of help in this place.. I don't know how anyone can make any money working here... they have a different person for everything... one to seat you.. one to take your drink order..one to fill your water... one to serve your apps.. one to take another drink order.. the manager who checks up on you....amazing... Well all was going well until the 5th waiter of the evening came over and placed a dish in front of my Boss which contained a WHOLE fish yes.. sitting up as if it was swimming.. eyeballs and everything! The presentation was just fabulous... too fabulous... so much so that the kids at the table next to us almost started crying..they thought we were about to eat Nemo... it was awful...my boss just felt so guilty (and actually a bit repulsed!!) so much so that she couldnt eat it It was quite horrifying!! She didn't want anything else so she just ordered some more wonton dumpling things We on the other had both enjoyed our meals (sharing with My boss of course!!) During the meal.. we heard outside the skies opening up and the rain just thundering down. When we were done eating, it had stopped raining and was actually a beautiful night. My Boss and the Husband decided that they had had enough.. and were heading home. So.. I walked them back up to the room to collect their stuff . (Note: no loews gift yet) They leave.. and I hang out in the room for a bit to decided what I was going to do next. It was about 8 pm now. I decided to take a walk over to Citywalk .. so.. off I go (thighs properly attired and ready for more walking!) During my walk over I decide that I wanted to go back to IOA instead. I think I'm beginning to like it here!
