Whoo-hooo, I got mail today!!!! Octoberbride03 sent me the cutest little fat-bellied creature hanging on a key ring. Inside his fat little belly is water and some thick green stuff on which is floating an adorable little monkey! Or maybe it's a bear--whatever it is, I LOVE it!!! She also sent a key chain of Veteran's Stadium (Philadelphia). My dh has already appropriated that--he's from right across the river in NJ and is a HUGE Phillies fan!! He practically grew up at Veteran's Stadium and was very sad when he heard it was to be imploded and torn down next year. Thank you very, very much, Maureen!!! And best of luck with your upcoming wedding!!

I just got home from the pool (finally nice weather) and got my mail. I had a package from "A Secret DIS Friend". Thank you to whomever adopted me. I loved everything that was in my package. The chickadee did still have music when he arrived. The Honor our Troops pin was very appropriate as my brother is in the Air Force and is still in Iraq. Thanks for the clipper keychain and the parcheesi one. Great idea for traveling.

Awwwwww...........you guys are the greatest!!!!!!!! I hit the jackpot when I opened my mailbox today!!!! Kirby (Susan) sent me the neatest keychain with a big gold outline of Texas charm on it. Hanging from the Texas charm are 3 smaller charms--the Texas state flag, a longhorn steer head and a cowboy boot!!! And with it came the sweetest note saying she wasn't my original exhangee, but didn't want me to be bummed out since my own exchangee hadn't responded yet. She had been burned in a couple of previous exchanges and got stuff from other Dissers who didn't want her to give up. She was just passing on that generosity. Susan, you are one special lady and I really appreciate what you've done! I am a great believer in practicing random acts of kindness and will do the same for some other soul one day.

And Nancy!!! My goodness!!! You, too!!!! A pewter heart keyring that says "Each day is a gift from God" and a keyring from the great state of Washington showing a mountain, some pine trees, an eagle, an elk, and a bear!!!! Besides that, there was a little wooden vase shaped like a tulip holding little wooden tulips on toothpicks!!!! It is sooooooo cute!!!!!

Nancy, please add me to your list of backups for when somebody gets missed or forgotten on the exchanges. Love only grows when you pass it on!!!!!!
