I Made Restaurant Reservations!!!

.... for my upcoming october trip !!!!

We are eating at: Planet Hollywood (dinner) at DTD, Donalds prehistoric breakfastouras in animal kingdom, Crystal Palace pooh breakfast buffett in Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood and Vine in MGM (with fantasmic package)!

I'm so excited!!! My friend and i are 20 years old, but still love the characters! And we thought a character buffett would be a good way to see some of the big ones and get pictures and autographs without having to stand in long lines!

has anyone ate at any of those restaurants??? We are using the dining plan for all of them. Also, does anyone know of any good "normal" type of food places to use the dining plan at epcot? We are both NON adventours eaters, and lot's of stuff i cant even pronounce at epcot, haha.

we were thinking of just using our table service credit at some counter service place that day. i read somewhere that you can do that. Yes, you're not going to get your moneys worth, but we are ok with that.

any help would be awesome!

Ah I LOVE the Crystal Palace. The food is amazing (noting too 'adventerous') and it's tons of fun. I've done both breakfast and diner there. It's one of my favs!

Great choices!

I made my friend go to the character meals when we had a girls trip, and she was reluctant. After breakfast at Donalds, she thanked me for making her go! We had a great time. Especially for adults, because who wants to spend time waiting in line for characters when there is so much other stuff to do, and you get great photos and a good meal!

At Epcot, try the Garden Grill. It's a character meal featuring Chip n Dale and friends. They have plenty of non-adventurous food served family style. That is, they bring out platters of food and you eat until you burst. 1 table service credit per person.

I have done Donald's and the food was cold and we had an early breakfast.

CP is my all time favorite.

Could I recommend Park Fare for Breakfast. Great place to see Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, and sometimes Belle.

For Epcot you could also try the Italian joint L'Orignale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante, and get spagetti or the fettuccini alfredo (which is really good IMO!).

Everyone has opinions about the restaurants, so here is mine. I liked all of them you have reserved. It is not the most amazing food I've ever had, but it is good. I really liked the variety of the buffet meals, there is something to please everyone, and some of the dishes are done very uniquely. Don't expect a five star dining experience, but definately expect better than your "old country buffet" type of place. Now Boma, on the other hand (at AKL), really impresses me for a buffet.

During our July visit, we ate at Planet Hollywood and Hollywood & Vine (package for Fantasmic). We enjoyed Planet Hollywood, we had been to the one in Dallas several times before it closed. The kids, who had never been, had alot of fun. The kept requesting songs, the DJ was great and played most of what they requested. The food was good. Hollywood & Vine was fine. I thought the food was fine, not great. The kids loved it. The waitress was great, the kids were sitting at the table next to us and when we looked over they were making Experimants with their ice cream. The waitress asked them what it was and talked to them for awhile.
For Epcot, we loved the Garden Grill. All the food was great. I loved the catfish, and I do not like fish. We were so full, we could not eat the dessert.
