I made it!

I don't know if you all remember or not, but I posted last week about being worried about losing my motivation for the marathon because I had just lost my dad. I got lots of great advice and support from many of you, and I just wanted to say thanks, and I DID IT! I crossed that finish line with a smile on my face and an angel on my shoulder. Thank you to everyone here. Next time I will definitely sign up to be a WISHer. I looked a few times this time but knew I couldn't make the meets so didn'tthink I should, but when I saw a few of you out on the course(I remember seeing someone at around the 21 mile turnaround point with a bag of orange slices) I wished I had.

Alsothanks to all the volunteers--you were amazing. It was freezing and you still showed up! A Million Thanks!

That was my wife Tracy (MrsTrx). She really had a good time and was amazed by the appreciation of the runners that came by. She even had a couple of marriage proposals!. She stepped in for Anne who traditionally man's that location. It was Tracy's way of repaying the kindness offered to her by strangers during the Honolulu Marathon.

I was think of you and I know what you went through, my nana died on the thursday, and the last thing I wanted to do was go to the expo and then race.
