Got woken up around 1:32am, and had a "squall" come thru till about 2:10am. Not bad, but I was awake the rest of the morning. Alarm went off at 2:45 so I called work to see if everything was OK.......it was, so I went to work. Just got home about 15 min ago, and now it is breezy out, and the sun is OUT! Tampa should be feeling it in about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 min. HOPE YOU ALL ARE OK, it will be 110 MPH winds, nothing to play around with. Best of luck to ALL!

Only breezy? Its downright windy down here at the south end of the county. Glad you survived. Still concerned about the avocado in my yard coming down.

 

[Rock'n Robin]

I've been watching the KW web cams--the live ones are all down--a couple of places have a stock photo up (Sebago watersports had a photo of two guys on a dock in bright sun with tons of boats at 10AM today) but some of the resort photos (southernmost resorts, cheeca lodge) have been showing some wicked wind.
The weirdest thing is seeing Hogs Breath totally empty, and Sloppy Joes totally empty and dark!

I looked at Port Canaveral and Two Palms this morning and it looked fairly calm over there when I looked at about 10 am.
