I made a costly mistake

It looks like I have let a prepaid American Express card expire. I usually get a grocery store gift card as soon as I get a prepaid card for any reason. I just think they are easier to spend that way.

For some reason, I didn't do this one and it shows that it expired on 12/31/13. I guess there's nothing that I can do about it??

Anyone have any creative ways I can make this work somewhere?

I'm sure I'm just out of luck, but I'm really sick about it. It's an expensive lesson.

Read the back of the card. All the prepaid cards I have say that the card expires, but not the funds. Since it acts like a credit card, it has to have an expiration date, but you just have to call in to get a new card issued.

The funds are good until used even if the card is not. Call Amex and they will help you.
