I was quick to write about my last nightmare experience with Air Tran so I just had to write about my good experience with Southwest. I was flying to Nashville for mother's day and as I got to the airport I saw my flight was already 30 mins delayed. I went throught security & checked again and it was up to an hour. There was another flight that was boarding. I went to the gate figuring it would be too full or I wouldn't be allowed on because it was boarding. Well they let me on & since my flight was going to be late there was no charge.
Meanwhile, my mom called to inquire about my original flight & was told that it was an hour late in arriving from it's original destination, but they were getting together a crew to take another plane, and it would probably only be 1/2 hour late.
They are almost always the cheapest, but in the future if they aren't I will fly them anyway
