I LOVED having Deni as a host!

Just wanted to say "brava" to Deni for being an amazing host of today's podcast! I had been hoping she would get a shot at hosting for a while now and I'm so glad it happened. I enjoy having such a varied and talented pool of hosts that can step in when Pete is away!

Someone asked Craig recently why she hadn’t had a chance to host yet and Craig said when she got her chance, he wanted her to have proper time to prepare (not fill in last minute) so her first time would be a success.

I thought it was so classy what he said and glad to hear that it was indeed a success (I haven't seen it myself yet, I will be back to toast her after I do.)

i listened to it and she was fantastic. i also want to mention how supportive all of her partners on the show were to her: jackie , craig, ryno, fiasco did a great job encouraging her and giving her the space and room to shine. they made me feel like they wanted to be there with gratitude and appreciated that we were there listening and it was, in that moment, their priority. awesome team!

I think it depends on the topics that are going to be covered. I like Pete on the shows where there are controversial issues to be covered. He always lets us know exactly where he stands and why. But some weeks are less controversial than others and it takes a good host to make the show interesting when the news isn’t. Deni is a great host for a more laid back, less polarized show. She has such a positive attitude and can make a small news story into an effective discussion. I like having a variety of hosts. I think it keeps the show fresh.
