Okay, I admit, I booked a Universal hotel through hotels.com & it turned into a mess:headache:. First, it stated (in bold) that you pay at check in or check out at this hotel. Second, the rate was for $254. Well, I was charged the next day & for the rate of $304. Needless to say I was pretty disgusted with the whole thing & with hotels.com's customer service. They just told me to call the hotel & talk to them. So, I called RPR & they transferred me to accounting & we canceled the reservation so I could re-book at the AAA rate. That was two days ago. I called this morning to re-book & the rates have dropped since then:banana: with my AAA discount I am only paying $257 with tax now, that's $85 less than what I was going to pay before.

I requested tower 1, high floor, facing the theme parks. I hope that is good because it is what I have gathered from the boards. I also have to say that Universal's customer service through this whole process has been absolutely wonderful:thumbsup2. We plan on checking in at 7am so we are ready for early entry to Harry Potter, hopefully that is plenty of time.

Glad everything worked out for you. We like the exact location you requested. If you go down the stairway at the end of the hall in Tower One it takes you out right on the walking path to City Walk.

Oh glad to hear that things worked out. Another bonus with booking through Universal is that you get credit for your stay with their youfirst program. Booking through a third party will not give you that.

Great, I'm hoping we have a great view! Thanks.

Thanks, I didn't know about this & just signed up. We try to go to Orlando once a year & if we really like Universal I'm sure we will be back.

Congrats! :goodvibes
