I love unexpected trips!

I have been bumming recently while I watch my Nov 2013 trip countdown at a snails pace...439 days to go!

This morning, though, my wife told me to go ahead and reserve a trip for my daughter and I for this year if I really wanted to. At first, I was excited, but then started thinking...why did she say that? Is it a trap?

Ultimately, I decided to jump while I still had permission. Now, along with the 439 day countdown, I have a 62 day countdown! YAY! I had to spend very little, so we are staying at All Star Music...but who cares...we are going to be at DISNEY!

Just felt the need to vent my excitement!

Doh..too good to be true...wife was upset that I actually reserved Nov 2012. Not sure why she told me to go if she really didn't want us to. Oh well...still have 2013!

I have an unexpected trip for October 2012 too! My husband and I are staying at All Star Sports/free quick dining plan. I always plan everything well in advance! But...not this! No plans this time except when I'm going, Where I'm staying, When I'm coming back! No dining reservations this time and no plans to cook! I was actually booking a vacation for the family for next year at Fort Wilderness (2013)! I noticed how cheap my husband and I could also go this fall. Just the two of us! He said we'll go if you want to! You have always wanted to! If you don't go now you probably never will! So go on and plan it. So... I did! But... I feel a little quilty not taking someone! Other than just a couple of times over the years we have taken our camper to Fort Wilderness and taken anyone that wanted to go! Parents, siblings, children, nieces, cousins, friends, grandchildren! Should I feel Guilty? I do a little! But.... not enough to not go! LOL! Disney here I come!

We have an unexpected trip this year too. We booked our October 24-28 trip on August 27. We weren't going to go this year since we went in 2010 & 2011 but we couldn't resist the discounts. We went with the Free Dining. I have never planned a trip in 2 months before --- I usually book a year in advance.

Ooops - just saw your change of plans. Boo!

When we were in WDW in July I booked our Spring Break trip for March 2013.. Then a few weeks ago at work I discovered I had some additional days to take so we are now also going for Thanksgiving! WHOO HOOO!

I can't believe we are going again with so little planning time. However we were able to get a segway tour which has always looked interesting, that and one dining ressie is all I have done. (Well other than the resort is booked and airline tix purchased: we also have annual passes.) We have never done a tour in all the years we have been going to WDW since 1975/ 1960's at DL. So a first for us!


I am sorry to hear your November 2012 trip didn't work out.. here is some
hoping your Nov 2013 trip planning goes well and fast for you.

Me too! I just booked for next month! And last month I booked the day before I went! So exciting!!!!!!!
