True, in real life P. T. Barnum wasn't a very nice man, but that doesn't get in the way of what is an uplifting, truly breathtaking musical. No smut, no violence, just invigorating music.

Did anyone here listen to "Never, Never" on Britain and America's Got Talent? Sung by the actual vocalist behind the movie? Wow. Just wow.

Meh. The music was okay. The rest of the movie was okay. But that music in that movie was a train wreck. I'm of the firm belief that modern pop has no business in musicals set before the invention of rock 'n' roll. It would have been much better with a soundtrack that was more "traditional Broadway."
