OMG!!! just got a 2 bedroom suite for 7 nights through skyauction total of $215.00 is that not great or what?

i got summer bay resorts villas and sheratan but summer bay is the one i picked

we just got back from summer bay resorts ( november 13 - 20 ), we were in the Houses, but the resort ( villas and condos looked very nice )

the villas and houses ( all have their own pools and some had hot tub spas built into the pools also ) were the original development

the condos are the newer units and they are constructing Summer Isle near the back of the property now

the resort is located near the far end of the 192 near hwy 27, a lil jaunt to get to WDW seaworld and universal....would say the resort is about 7 or 8 miles from the I4

they have a new supercenter walmart about 5 minutes away on hwy 27 north....all in all you should really enjoy your accomodations there, the staff was very responsive


we should all enjoy skyauction while we can.....do not think the good deals will be around forever

which sheraton was appearing ....since vistana does not usually appear in RSG which it is assumed you won since you said you had a choice or was it one which gave you two choices....of available Orlando properties????

the original villa i had was costing me over a grand, so i don't mind a little bit of a drive for the money i saved, i called them and was told they are 15 min from disney and 30 from seaworld and universal

that 15 minutes would be on a good day with no one else travelling to whence you were going....we found the traffic to vary depending on time of day we were out, but the trip to Universal took us about 35 to 45 minutes and the trip to seaworld about 30 minutes...

you can use the back entrance into disney at sherbeth road .......to save some time on 192 also if the traffic is heavy....


getting into the resort is easy.....but getting out is not so .....until you find they have a "resort way" connector road just past the guard shed that goes over to publix.....from there you can get out onto 192 going towards disney using the stop lights....


192 is very busy even near its end.....at hwy 27

We've stayed out on 27 before.
We did well as long as we stayed out of rush hour on 192 and that was when they were doing major construction. 15 minutes from our door to the gate of MK. Not bad!! Have a great time!

I am afraid the Skyauction incredible deals will be a thing of the past very soon.

In July we rented a villa in the Poconos for under $300. This year they added an additional surcharge of $150 for dates between Memorial and Labor day.
$450 would still be a great price, but I really loved that $298!

the actual address for the resort is Clermont.....it is about a mile away from the end of 192 where it intersects with hwy 27

it is about a mile or so past Orange Lake Country Club

you should enjoy the villas...they seemed to be working on some while we were there ...so they do seem to do some upkeep, although the paint on the furniture in the house was starting to show "wear and tear" but of course white paint eroding shows up really quik

when are you going....??


we are going back this week on our rescheduled skyauction september vacation from september....staying at Silver Lake Resort - Silver Points we will be a lil closer to the action there ...not that it matters...will be doing universal and seaworld this time ( the mother in law is going with us, christmas gift to her, she is 80 )

I have never stayed at that resort butI have freinds that live in a development on 27 so i drive that way many times while on vaccation even though i stay on property. The drive isnt too bad. I can ususally make it to her home (which is way past where you need to be) in about 30 minutes. I ususally take the back entrance of Sherberth road onto Disney property.
