I love OKW/BCV - will I like SSR?

I leave for our 1st stay at SSR in less than 30 days, and I'm worried I won't like the resort. I love OKW and BCV , and the pictures of SSR don't look anything like those 2 resorts. (SSR looks like a hotel I'd find in my home town). Am I going to be disappointed? Or better yet, please tell me I'm going to love it!

SSR is a great resort - the interior of the rooms are the same layout as BCV, but very different from OKW. The decor is traditional, but not stuffy in my opinion. I find it very relaxing, and love the theme and location next to Downtown Disney. I do they where you're located in the resort makes a big difference on your feeling of it.

Google the internet for pictures and see if you like what comes up. Which resort someone likes more is always a subjective question. There is no way anyone else can guarantee you'll love it or hate it.

But, we've really enjoyed staying at SSR!! To me, it's kind of a combination of BCV and OKW. The architecture is similar to BCV, but it has outside halls like OKW. We think it's very beautiful and we really enjoy how close it is to DTD!!

I love OKW, but, honestly, I would prefer SSR over OKW. Not really sure why. I think because SSR doesn't seem quite as isolated and far from everything as OKW. Don't get me wrong though! I love them all!! We're going to VWL next month and we can't wait!!

I love SSR. It is so beautiful both inside and out. I love the proximity to DTD. The only thing that I didn't like was that because it is close to DtD, many people park there and walk to Congress Park to pick up the bus. It makes the buses very crowded.

I am going to be the negative here. We stayed there in May just a few weeks ago and it was a bit of a disappointment from OKW. The living space in the 2bd unit was so small in comparison to OKW that it seemed cramped to us.

Although, one of the major positives, is the proximity of the resort to DTD. We were in Congress Park and loved the 5 min walk to the Marketplace area!

My husband and I were at OKW for two nights last week. We tried to switch over to SSR for our second night but we couldn't get a studio. (Once we were there, we had quite a few issues at OKW )

We love SSR. It is new and fresh. I think the layout of the buildings are much better then OKW, which were weird to me. We were really looking forward to our stay at OKW. We were so disapointed we were not thrilled with it.
