I love my students!

They are throwing me a "surprise" baby shower today. They are sneaking around trying to get it ready for me since I am in my planning period. They are not very good at hiding it, but it is SO cute watching them try to be secretive. It is times like this that I love my job immensely as I watch them scurry and whisper down the hallway.

These are 6th graders, so it is awesome they are planning all on their own!

When my mom was pregnant with my twin and I, my dad's kids at school threw him a baby shower too! My mom still talks about it!

It was so awesome! They bought some of the sweetest gifts, made really touching cards and even researched baby shower games to play! I may have even had more fun at this baby shower than my other two! Some of ya'll made some sweet comments and I really appreciate them. I really needed the pick me up and ya'll were just the best!

Ha ha We live in the Ingle's area too We just moved there back in February. Our mailing address says Williamson but we are in Spalding. I think the post office is conspiring to confuse us.

I teach in douglas county now. I know the drive is horrid! But I was taking classes at West Georgia so it was convenient for that. Next year I am moving to a school closer to our house!

What counties/systems have the best schools? DH and I are looking to move so DD can have a better education that what can be provided down here. What suburbs can you recommend (DH hates Atlanta, but I may can get him into a burb)?

For a bit further south of Atlanta, Fayette County Schools and Peachtree City Schools are very nice.

My DH is right, Peachtree city and Fayetteville are really great school districts and because they are south of the city they are not as expensive cost of living areas as Cobb county or Gwinnett which are also great school districts.
