I love my DVC because...

I love DVC because it allows us to travel to Disney more often and travel with family members. As my kids are quickly approaching their teenage years, I feel that our "Family Trips" gives us a great base that we live our lives from. We constantly talk about our past trips and our future trips. Both of my kids made their first trip to WDW before they turned two, and each had been four times before the age of five. They are growing up Disney Kids and I hope that 15-20 years from now I will be booking grand villa's for my kids with their kids.

Like it says in my signature,

Families that Disney together, Stay together.:grouphug:

I love the idea that when we arrive, we won't feel the need to do commando-style touring. I used to always plan our days and activities to the T so as not to waste any precious time and not to miss anything. Well, who knows. Maybe I'll still do that, but at least we'll have the option of relaxing a little more...knowing we'll be back very soon.:D

More from me...

The space...even a studio with the kitchenette is such a saving grace. Although we seriously are doing 1 BR as often as we can, but I am afraid we won't be able to go back after we hit the 2 BR this December with the grandparents!

I too am loving the no-need-for-commando-ness of DVC. If we don't hit it, well there's always next trip.

I love that you can have an exciting Disney vacation and still have relaxation if you choose to do that.

Love it!

I love my DVC because it gives me the opportunity to treat friends and family to an awesome vacation!

I realize that I'm too new to really know how my DVC works just yet, but the reason we bought in was because it would allow us to re-visit the best family vacation we ever had, and also because we would be able to use our points to travel to other countries. We always said, maybe we'll travel when the kids are grown, but now it looks like we will be able to take the kids with us. What a wonderful thought! To be able to open up the world for our children!

I love my DVC for so many reasons. We get to go to WDW at least twice a year so we are always planning another trip. It's less depressing coming home when you know you'll be back in less than a year.

I love my DVC because it is so flexible. I can stay in any size room at any time of the year for as many days as I want. As long as I have enough points.

I love my DVC because the DVC resorts are beautiful and the two we own are BCV and BWV and the location is perfect for us.

I love my DVC because our trips are way more relaxing than they used to be. We take our time, and relax by the pool.

I love my DVC because we've gotten a chance to check out other resorts while pool hopping.

I love my DVC because...

Twice a year - I'm home!
It's been giving our son the best childhood memories (us too).
We love not worrying about whether we will have a good time on vacation. It just keeps getting better.
It really is the best thing we ever did to make life more enjoyable.

I love DVC because it means the next trip is always just a dream away. When I was a kid, I would feel SO sad when we would leave WDW. It was so hard to say goodbye, even then. Now I get home and before a month is past I book the next trip (or two!).

I also love DVC because it puts my value/moderate-budget self into "deluxe" accomodations! :) It's great to be spoiled!

I love my DVC because we bought it before my wife became a stay-at-home Mom. Because we have a paid-for ownership in DVC we can now afford to take Disney vacations on one income instead of two. Without DVC we would probably be lucky to have one disney trip every year or two instead of the two or three that we manage to squeeze out of an AP.

It's nice to be able to enjoy a vacation without having to worry about the big room bill hanging on the door on check-out day.

Along those same lines, DH and I were talking last night about what we love about DVC and one thing was the fact that it allows us to make vacationing a higher priority in our lives. This year, we've kind of hit a rough financial patch and also, DH is traveling a lot on business. Without DVC, we probably wouldn't spend the money for vacation this year. However, we really need some time away together, but without DVC, our "together" time would have been pushed down on the priority list. I'm so glad we're able to go to HH tomorrow!
