I love living in Texas right now!!!

the Bluebonnets are amazing this year. The weather has been incredible. We're getting ready for Fiesta and the Poteet Strawberry festival and my kids school schedules are lightening up ever so slightly. I've been back four years now and i honestly can't say when i've seen a prettier spring here in San Antonio. I'm so blessed to be here!

I have never been to Texas, but my daughter now lives there. She liked it at first...but now, is totally home sick! And wants out!! Were you born there? I guess it is hard to leave New England!! Glad to hear you like it!

OMG LoriAnn, I didnt read the thread yet, but as soon as I saw it, bluebonnets popped into my mind!! We would just take a drive down by the hill country to check them out sometimes. Oh that and bluebell ice cream!! I miss Texas!! Oh and throw in Sonic etc!!

Texas gets in your blood... Of course, I was born here, so maybe I'm biased.

The bluebonnets are GREAT this year. Sooo pretty. Here's hoping that this summer isn't as hot as last though!

My husband was born there-has a sister & other family there-love to visit. They are from the Bastrop area. They did take us to San Antonio-wish we could have spent more time there-and of course the Austin area-got a parking ticket there too!! LOL Never been during the bluebonnet blooming though-only summertime. Maybe someday when retirement time comes around we'll live there too!
