I cannot begin to explain how nice it is to have DVC and no longer have to watch my mail, email and call Disney to ask if I have a pin code attached to my name.

It is so nice to know what my trip will cost me when I visit and know that I can stay where I want to stay at a price I am happy with.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I do have a question - is there any way that CRO can answer questions or make changes to a DVC reservation? I assume not, but I wanted to ask as they have shorter hours.

I also cannot see that phoning them for dining reservations offers any advantage over making them online as I did prior to buying into DVC?

The pixie dust has landed on your shoulder. ;)

Only DVC Member Services can help you with your DVC reservations. CRO only takes care of cash reservations.

You are correct, you can still make your dining reservations as you did in the past - 407-WDWDINE. :thumbsup2

Have fun!

Robert

YES, agreed before DVC I used to be a code watcher...now its so nice to just make my reservation for when I want to go and not have to fill my time watching, waiting, speculating, forecasting, reading the boards predictions, you get the idea....YEAH DVC!!

I know exactly what you mean. Last year, we were stressing out so much about not getting one of those precious pin codes and then decided to buy DVC so we didn't have to worry about it.

It is so great to know that we have our normal trip all set to go each year. And, if I spend a few extra nights in the studio, I can get a 2nd trip in.

We are planning to add more points and really wanted to bite the bullet last month, but we didn't. Now that we started are 2010 UY (June), it has curbed my addonitis since I won't get those extra points any longer.

I told DH I am saving so I can do it next January instead. Will still get the same # of points as buying now but no MF's for 2010. And, I don't need those extra points until 2012 so I am good to go!!!

That is exactly what pushed me to buy into DVC....well, and the fact that I go once a year.

I think we will add points via a cash purchase after our January visit. :goodvibes

What i love the most is that we actually "vacation" now at Disney. We don't worry about rope drop, or late nights. We relax and recouperate from our busy lives. Now that we know we have points, its like it took away the "I have to see this, I have to ride this.....I may never come to Disney again" feeling. I love everything about DVC. Just want more points:)

Yes, but before you know it, you will be ever vigilant watching the resale boards like me. We just joined in December and all I want now are more points!!! :wizard:

Congrats on joining DVC... it is a lot of fun hanging out here on the DVC Boards. I am learning A LOT!

You captured our sentiments exactly. We plan to add on in 2012!!
