I love credit cards so much!

That is the one thing I worry about when I'm traveling. Using my laptop in hotels to access sites where I'll use my credit card, such as booking a room.
I don't always remember but I try to do most sensitive things on my phone with WiFi shut off, using my data if I am in public.
You should definitely call your police non-emergency number and request to file a report on it. Ask them to provide you the report number as well.

Not sure what state you're in, but my state attorney general's office runs an identity theft division where you can also find resources to help you there. Our agency will even issue a card for you to carry in your wallet stating that your identity has been stolen (more useful in the extreme event that you're pulled over by the police and "you" have a warrant out for your arrest).
I will get on this today. Thank you!

@Mopedmom1 So sorry you’re having this situation thrust upon you. Must be nightmarish. I’m there are a zillion other things you’d rather be doing with your time, not to mention the stress involved. Hope today brings good news with getting things sorted out.
Thanks! I still have Christmas decor to put away, a new laptop to set up and a vacation in two months that I was in the process of changing when my laptop quit working. Not quite a zillion things, but close enough. Lol :crazy2:

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this mess, but it sounds like you are on top of it, and they are going to get shut down if they try anything else!
Thanks! I hope so but thoughts just keep rolling around in my brain. "What's next, what's next?"

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday on our last cruise and the $30 charge got 6 months no interest. I let it sit for a month just because I thought it was funny lol

That's awesome! I haven't used the perk in the several years so I didn't know what had changed since then regarding a minimum. The info out at the time I used it was like $100 min I think and all our charges had been just over so didn't even think about it. Our smaller charges from the Gifts and Amenities page we had used GCs for, just out of happenstance, but now I wonder if our beer mug and spa passes would have gotten it too

ATL to Hawaii is the longest I've done. I landed at 3 PM Hawaii time (9PM EST with daylight savings). I felt like I was drunk when I got off the plane and saw sunshine! I took the advice I'd heard from others which was to stay up until a reasonable time to go to bed, so I went to sleep at 9 PM Hawaii time and was able to sleep until 4 AM when DH had to get up to go to base.
see going west to Maui wasn't an issue for any of us,I don't know why. But coming home...... urg. it took DH a day or so for it to hit him fully till then he was bragging that he didn't get jetlag...

Just adding up my Chase offers: so far I've gotten $93.91 back total. 3 cards have annual fees and free nights and the other is the Chase Freedom.
Annual fees are $49 - IHG, $75 - Hyatt, and Marriott at $95 & $99 for the Marriott Biz. Another $224 will cover the fees. Chase is making me happy! In addition the value of my unrestricted IHG free night for this summer in Ocean City is $400 plus as is the Hyatt night. There are also several Marriotts in the 35K range as well as one oceanfront in the 45 or 50k range and they are also very pricey in July and August - when I want to go to the beach! So, these cards make it possible for me to do weekends on the sand for almost free!

Amex will be giving me $150 back by the time I use both the Staples and Lowes offers. I've also dropped a few restaurant offers on the Rose Gold, but they may expire as I can't eat out every day!

My fees to Amex are $450 -SPG Lux, $95 - SPG personal, $99? - SPG Biz, $250 - Amex Rose Gold. I can't see myself doing enough in offers this year to cover these fees, but they are still keepers for me. I'm going to track and see how close I come. Of course I've already gotten $300 credit on the SPG, $200 in SW gift cards and $100 in cash back on the Amex RG, plus $10 each for dec and jan so far for dining at Cheesecake Factory - bought take out plus gift cards.

Amtrak BOA so far this year has given me $24.22 plus I expect to get an additional $5 for a coin when I go get a small item at Starbucks. That AF is $75, and I'm going to do my best to keep these deals in mind as I shop and dine throughout the year.

Most of the spend will be Disney gift cards to go towards my DVC dues on the bigger offers, but $3 or 4 off at Starbucks doesn't hurt either.

do you see this on your acct page or in the app?

The offer? The offers have only shown in my app.

I don't remember having any issues coming home. We have a really funny picture of me right after I landed in Hawaii and DH had bought me a lei. I literally look drunk in the photo. :drinking1It also really tripped me up when I got into the airport that has all those random open air spots. I kept walking around and was like "am I outside? am I still in the airport?" :rotfl:

Haha they probably would have. We got my in-laws an in room gift a few years ago and it triggered the no interest as well. I'm thinking anything you order in advance does.

:offtopic:

I just had to shed a little tear and come share that my sweet horse that you all have seen me post pictures of for my mane braiding business was sold to a new owner today. Even though he technically hasn't been "mine" for about a month now, he officially left the barn :guilty: His new owner sounds like she's absolutely going to spoil him rotten though, and I suspect she will have him at some of the shows this year so I can see him.

Why is the Chase app so buggy? I just want to look at my offers. It is only showing on one card now. I have to go into the ChasePay app to view both cards. So weird, random, and annoying!

ETA: JK! It only shows the one's i've already added through ChasePay. Guess I won't be using the CSP any time soon.

Southwest Question:

We've never flown southwest before.

I have enough points to book one way flights with points in my chase ultimate rewards account.

For two travelers, can we transfer the points to one southwest account and that person make the reservation so we are both on the same ticket?
Or do we need to transfer points to each southwest account and make the reservations separately?
don't transfer at all, just make the flight arrangements as needed, and write down the number(s) even if they're on separate res it all works just fine

the open air airport!!! I was so amazed at this..... I'd never seen it before!

Not sure if this was mentioned, but be sure to check your emails from American Airlines. I got an offer for free platinum pro status through May yesterday with no strings attached.

DH got this as well. He forwarded his email to me so that I could look into it for him ie-do whatever needs to be done. I don't think he has any plans to fly AA in the next few months though. With the government shutdown his work travel has been halted.

Another Southwest question:

Can two family members use the same email address when setting up the southwest frequent flyer accounts?
