I was 18 with my oldest and 34 with my youngest. Super convenient have so many years to space out the 4 bundles of joy.

I'm so curious about this! How do things work in your family. We have a 9 and 5 year old. My husband is dying for another and I'm on the fence. Our life is so easy right now! And i'm trying to focus on my career. I could see trying for another in a couple of years. But then we would have a pretty big gap. I'm unsure how it would work! Obviously, plenty of people have done it though!

Is there a reason I cannot generate a referral on the Chase app for my Freedom card? The one I want to refer and it is the only one without a link. Grrr

Way off topic. I saddled and rode my horse for the first time in 2 years. She moved off like we hadn’t missed a day. I really love this little mare. I only rode about 20 min. I didn’t want either of us to get sore. We are both out of shape. But I’ve been told round is a shape. I can see a lot more fun in my future:dancer: my heart feels happy.

They seemed to have removed it from the app recently. The website catch all still isn't generating a link either. I have no idea how to try it from within your account on the web. The only place I ever found it before was in my Special Offers and all that's been replaced with stupid business stuff, so that's been my only two options for a couple months.

Did you ever generate a link before? My existing links still work, just can't generate a new one right now.

Yeah, we are heavy packers too. I keep telling DW that I want to make an effort to pack lighter (since I'm always the one lugging the luggage... hey wait I think I just realized the origin of that word!), and yet, we keep adding bags.

We have the hardest time packing light too! Well, not "we" per say but me and DD's (since they are 6 and 10 and I still pack for them). I think I have PTSD from a few trips where I needed something I didn't pack and it ended up being a giant hassle. There is nothing worse than needing one specific thing and having to rush around for it. One time I specifically remember was when I was a teenager and needed a dress for an event we were going to and since we were going to be staying in the city my parents suggested I buy a new one there. OMG, terrible! Under the gun and rushing around trying to find a suitable dress and I ended up with something so stinking hideous :scared:. In fact many of my most disliked articles of clothing came from a desperation purchase.

Yup, I definitely have a problem packing for every available scenario. I am already worried about Disneyland in November and WDW in January. It's like I completely forget what temperatures feel like so I look at the forecast and think 'But what does a high of 76 and a low of 52 feel like?! Will I need pants or shorts?!'. Never mind the fact that those are the current temperatures we are experiencing here right now. By packing time I will have total amnesia. BRING ALL OF THE PANTS!

Off to the airport for DD’s Global Entry interview. Thank you Amex Platinum!
Well that was super easy and painless. A photo and a few sets of electronic fingerprints later and she’s good to go. Already entered her KTN on our upcoming flights. DH and I have our interviews next week, hope it’s as simple. Will be handy for our flights later next month. More time in the Delta lounge (thanks again Amex Plat!)

Indoor ring?! Jealous. Glad you got back in the saddle!

Heading to LAX for my flight back home. My SO proposed this trip! I’m going to need some honeymoon ideas lol.

The Disneyland hotel was amazing. Worth 200k+ URs for the package. I could have gotten a better value out of them if I redeemed for first class travel somewhere or transferred to a Hyatt, but I prefer using URs for Disney trips.

It was so nice being on property and going back to the hotel for naps. Lol
We had so much time so we got to go slow and relax a bit. I do prefer the Grand Californian over the Disneyland hotel if you have some extra URs you want to burn. lol

We somehow spent $1125 on food for a five night trip. We only did one table service a day. We snacked a lot tho. You guys have to teach me your food tricks so I can lower this. SO has a new philosophy that there are no budgets in Disney so idk if I’ll be able to convince him to cut down.

We ate at Steakhouse 55, Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe, Jazz Kitchen, and Wine and Country Tratoria. I loved Steakhouse 55, Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, and Jazz Kitchen. SO and I agreed we would not go back to Wine and country tartoria. I didn’t like Cafe Orleans, but he did so we will be back lol. They gave us two extra beignets and a cute little Mickey made out of whipped cream for our engagement, that was very nice of them, so I will try them again.

We did a DVC tour for a $100 giftcard and four fastpasses each. It was about 40 mins so worth it for us. We also got to see an Aulani room, which was gorgeous. They didn’t use high pressure sales tactics and I simple said we couldn’t afford it right now. It’s real clever how they break the payment down to monthly payments over 10 years, like yeah we can afford $185 a month, but paying 12% interest goes against my FIRE plans. We will most likely buy dvc in the future though, but will pay cash and buy resale.

During the tour we said we couldn’t afford DVC. The guide asked where we were staying and how long. We said the Disneyland hotel and five nights. The guide said that’s like $3,000 how can you afford that and not DVC. I was like credit card points. He was like oh the Disney Visa. lol if only he knew...

I am in the car trying to generate from my phone. I don’t have my reddit username/password so I couldn’t look on dischurners. But then I remembered that I originally sent them to twitter so I could copy the link. Later figured out I could skip that step but yay for now, was able to send it from there. My sis called me and said she needed a 0% balance card ASAP. Will see if she can get it, divorce really screwed up her credit but she is back on track so hopefully it will go thru.

Lol thanks! it was just the two of us in the room. I didn’t want a big scene anywhere. I’m pretty quiet and shy, but will speak up if I have to lol. But SO is very shy so it was perfect with just the two of us alone. He was also so nervous and shaking. Idk why we have been together forever and he knew I would say yes. But it was adorable.
