I love credit cards so much!

Well, I have a 9 yr old CIC. I feel pretty confident that I can get a 2nd Chase Biz card, but if I have to choose between SW and CIP, I'll go with SW for the CP. I think I can wring more value out of a CP over a 2 year span than 80K or 100K UR points even with the 1.5 multiplier on my CSR. Having had a CP since 2015, I kind of feel bereft at the thought of losing it.

All that said, are there any DPs of anyone out there with 3 Chase Biz cards with only a "business?"

I’m actually thinking about trying for the CIC later this month. That’d be my third Chase biz with a “business.” (It’d be easier for me to manage this way; or I may just have DW apply since she only has one Chase biz.)

Alternatively, a lot of churners on reddit have had success signing up for 2 CIPs or 3+ Chase biz cards by getting an EIN for the “business” and applying under that.

P.S. I've opened up 4 AMEX Biz cards in the past 5 months (mostly for DH) and the spend is killing me lol
I've heard of people having 3 "business" cards with Chase :)

If your CIC is 9 years old...why not apply for CIP. Then cancel the CIC a couple months before applying for SW Biz. Then at the anniv. of your CIP you downgrade it to a CIC. Then you're only "without" a CIC for a few months. Since the CIC doesn't report on your personal credit report it's not helping your AAoA anyyways... Food for thought :)

I am having a terrible time trying to get my Etickets through Chase travel. This is not fun. I am hoping it is worth all the trouble in the end. And even worse, this is My DH CSR and they will not talk to me. I told him to add me as a authorized talker on the last call he made but he was so frustrated with them he forgot.

I purchased tickets via chase using UR and got my confirmation number within minutes. Linked it to mde and the correct tickets were added.
I'm just so upset. I was planning on utilizing the 90 day FP pilot program for CL guests for a few days at the end of my trip. (Been saving up bank bonuses for it :) ) Was your date of departure super close in when you bought? Chase never said it would 60 days prior to departure before I would get my tickets!

I called Chase and they said that's their vendor and they can put in a request the tickets process sooner but that won't necessarily happen and to call Chase back every other week and see if the vendor has processed it. Nothing else they could do. Waiting until 60 days before a Disney World trip for the tickets would scare the daylights out of me even if I wasn't looking to participate in the CL pilot program! Just trust I have it on the 60 day mark at 4am for FP booking?! The crazy thing is @WVMomof3 is in the same boat and is getting the same response from Chase and she is already in that 60 day window. I tried calling Chase's vendor today and was told at least 30 min wait, yesterday I waited about 15 mins with them, but it looks like they won't talk to me since I'm not the agent that booked the ticket. I've sent an email explaining the situation to the original Chase rep who forwarded me the Funjet confirmation explaining the situation and I will settle in for holding with Funjet later this morning and hope to heaven I can get someone there to accelerate the processing on this. This is ridiculous.

OMG are we on a dual posting roll today :) (But if they add you as an au that's a $75 charge!)

@platamama - That's actually a really great idea!

My DH has had the Sapphire for more than 4 years now. He is planning to cancel tomorrow so that he can reapply and get the bonus again. How soon after cancelling can he reapply and get the bonus? I know he can get the bonus since it’s been more than 2 years since he got it but just wondering how long he should wait to reapply? He is under 5/24.

I know what I am about to ask has nothing to do with CC, but here it goes Lol. Could anyone recommend some must eat at restaurants at WDW please. My family is going in Nov. and ADR is on Wednesday and we are still not sure where to eat. A family of 5. Thank you!!!!
You have gotten lots of recommendations our favorites 2 adults 3 kids
Breakfast - boma, trattoria al forno, be our guest
Lunch - be our guest, beaches n cream, saltui canteen(pandora in ak), sleepy hallow (Mk)
Dinner- tusker, whispering canyon, mickeys bbq, hoop de doo, 1900 park fare
We have done every character meal so if you want specifics feel free to ask

Is the food here actually good? I feel like I've heard a lot about the ice cream but not so much about the food. Considering it for my November trip.
We like the food. All 5 of us eat for under $50. We also go for the kitchen sink in the evening.

They've never questioned me when I've called to book on DH's CIP! I called again Wednesday to change our plans and still wasn't questioned. I wonder if it makes a difference if it's a business card, because maybe for a business it would be reasonable to have a "secretary" or someone else call for you.

Don't cancel the Sapphire, call Chase and ask to "product change" the Sapphire to a no-fee Freedom or Freedom Unlimited. After that, I'd give it at least a week before applying for the Chase Sapphire Preferred (I'm guessing). If you can handle a combined $8k minimum spend in the next 3 months, I'd seriously consider applying for the CSP and the CSR on the same day (double dip) to get both bonuses. This is the only way to get around the "one Sapphire rule" to get the bonuses on both cards without waiting another 2 years.

I was hoping it would just add me as an authorized speaker, but not an authorized user??? Is that such a thing?
I don't think that's a thing, you can authorize someone to speak on your behalf but I think that's only valid for that exact phone call. Even an AU doesn't have the authority to make changes to an account so even if you were an au they might not talk to you regarding this situation.

I was able to have DH add me as someone they could talk to - it was on the SW Biz card, I'm pretty sure. I'm not an AU, but I'm in the system as a card administrator or something so that they can talk to me whenever I call. Seemed we both had to be on the call to do it - handing the phone back and forth.

I'm Back from my work trip, and hopelessly behind on the thread - again. I did get through all my MSR on my SPG Biz (yay!), or sort of yay because part of it was some car maintenance that I hadn't planned on spending money on. I already see my starpoints on my Amex account.

Feeling a little lost without MSR to meet, but happy to be able to put my travel on an UR earning card again.

Used priority pass for lunch in Denver - yay, and tried out the D-gate lounge in Vegas - pretty lame, unless you are drinking (which I wasn't).

Oh my goodness!!! I am waiting to see how this plays out. How stressful for yoU!!!
Is the same issue present when booking a package through CUR? I may do that.

When I cancelled DH's SW and reapp'd I waited 30 days, but I am a chicken about these things. I agree with @Lain to downgrade instead.

Do you have a mortgage or rent you can pay through plastiq? I knocked out our CIP MSR right away paying the mortgage.

I am not sure on GOC...I know Toys R Us isn't doing them anymore since they are closing. Do you have somewhere to buy them?

where do u live? If u live in Texas, H-E-B still sells $500 GOC.

You can apply as many GOC cards as you want to your GOC account. I used to buy mine at Toys R Us - so only $5.95 per $500 card. Now that they've closed, the options are very limited. There is a pharmacy in NC/SC I believe that sells them (Fred's perhaps?). If you're not close to a store where you can buy the physical cards, the only option is online. I won't do that though due to the high fee on the $200 limit. Best Buy is supposed to get these cards at some point, but the rollout has been delayed and delayed and delayed. I won't buy more till they show up there (if they ever do!).

Look into Plastiq. You get 3x when paying bills there on your CIP. Some mortgages work (you may have to get creative with spellings). Or you can pay rent, utilities, car payments, etc.

My DH isn't at all interested in this game. I really don't want to take the chance that something will go wrong with paying the mortgage with Plastiq. My car payment is through Chase so I don't want to mess with that.

The only place I can buy GIC cards is online. Each card has a max of $200 with a 3% fee. Plastiq's fee of 2.5% would be a little better. Plus I can save on that using a Dischurner code. Thanks!
