how do you feel? In our state I just qualified for an appt. for Pfizer....(you're much younger than me lol)
I feel good. Just a sore arm. Dh is getting his shot tomorrow. I’m technically a substitute teacher so I qualified under that. Dh qualifies under his job also. We got our shots at cvs and they know what they’re doing. It was very efficient and quick. I didn’t have to wait behind anyone, walked around the store for 15 minutes, and left. It was easy to get an appointment too. I was worried because Publix online runs out of appointments almost instantly in my county. Cvs had tons of stores and times open though

I need dd to get the Pfizer shot. She doesn't turn 18 until after she starts college so Pfizer is the only one she's eligible for. Was hoping she'd have an appointment by now since she works at Chick Fil A but it seems to be completely random right now in Virginia. Half my co-workers (in their 20s and 30s) have been vaccinated and my employers who are almost 65 haven't:(
In Virginia try the Harris Teeter website. I have had luck there.

The cruise credit (FCC) should be held by DCL, not Costco. If you login to DCL's website and start making a reservation, you can see the credits when you go to pay. The 10% off you have to call in to get after you book is what I've learned on FB.

Norway sounds lovely--didn't work for us for next year but someday:)
Unfortunately DCL will not let me book the cruise when it’s already held with the travel agent. The travel agent will have to release it back to DCL. Costco gives a 7% cash card back after you’ve completed the cruise. This is my 15th time booking a DCL Cruise through Costco. My first five cruises were with other travel agents and my first one on my own when I knew nothing about cruising. Booking through Costco can be a PIA but the savings is worth it to me. Traveling when you don’t have to worry about kids school schedules makes life a lot easier. And now that our daughter is married, she pays for her own cruises! And now that she’s stationed in Germany their airfare will be a lot less.

Okay.

For me, there's nothing to release because the cruise was canceled. DCL holds the FCC. I currently don't have any cruise reservations with Costco.

I've used Costco numerous times too and called them yesterday for them to walk me through the process. They gave me two options: 1) call Costco and have them rebook or 2) use dcl's website then transfer to Costco. Either way the result is the same in terms of the cash card but I don't have to take the chance that Costco is so backed up I miss out on the room I want or the price goes up. I agree at times it is a pain to book with them but so worth it when the cash card arrives:)

And I hear you on having more options with grown kids. I'll have one in college and one in high school so different breaks which makes this more complicated but we'll figure it out.

Tomorrow because we're only Gold. And someone else recommended booking it on the website and transferring to Costco--but that shouldn't be such an issue if you're Platinum.

I'm stumped because we had a FCC from a canceled cruise and I know I can apply it to the new cruise, but it doesn't seem to be associated with my OBB discount.
Where are you seeing the prices for the 2022 cruises? The 2022 Norwegian fjords cruise looks intriguing.....

I along with other family members have received the Pfizer shot....none of us had any side effects after the 1st shot
After the 2nd shot we all had soreness where the shot was given and various side effects for 24 hrs... My daughter and I had a headache and muscle aches...my SIL had everything chills, fever getting sick.... it he always gets any illness way worse that anyone. DH goes for his second on Wednesday

Those who haven’t done shots yet- get them in your non-dominant arm!

I had arm soreness after shot 1 Pfizer. It kicked in about 10 hours post shot, my arm was almost unusable the next day. Gone 36 hours later. I’ve scheduled the day after shot 2 off of work. Figure there’s no way it won’t kick my rear being in my early 30s.

I haven't seen the 2022 prices yet--just looked at opening day prices for 2020 and 2021 and hoping they aren't too far off. But the FB group is probably your best bet. Just checked and I saw an 11 A for 2A is $3,946 for the 9/4 cruise.

I had a couple of weird emails from Capital One today (that's a card I opened back in 2018 before going to Japan (and before I knew about churning, obviously!) about a "credit" to my account. I thought at first some spam had sneaked through.

No, they were legitimate. I had forgotten that about 2 years ago this week when we were on our Princess cruise, I had purchased $200 in future cruise credits. They refunded them early this morning. I guess it's good, since I had completely forgotten about it to begin with, but it makes me sad and worried for Princess.

I will say, though, that since it was on a "pre churning card," I actually still have it and don't have to worry about it going back on a card that has since been closed!

I ended up doing my dominant arm because I carry ds in my left most of the time. My arm actually isn’t too bad right now. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse

I’ve never added a photo before. Hope it’s right. This is the September 4, 2022 Norwegian fjords Cruise.

I have been having vaccine envy, because we are still awhile out here, and I just got a text out of the blue that I am eligible! I can't even believe it! Getting one on Sunday. The message came from the hospital system where I see my cardiologist, so that must be why.

I got the first Pfizer shot and I felt perfectly fine. I have two weekly allergy injections and those swell up my arm at the injection site and it's pretty tender for a day or two. I didn't have any of those issues with the first vaccine.

I hope this was a different quarter. CF is warehouse now, Discover is warehouse next quarter. But how did you use your discover at costco? I thought you could maybe use it to buy costco gc, but can you use those to buy 3rd party gc?
Sorry, I reversed the 2 in my post. Online you can use Discover or MasterCard, just not in store.

Since Costco is holding my previous canceled reservation and all of my cruise credit, I need to book with Costco for the new cruise so I can get the 10% on board booking plus the 25% cruise credit in addition to the canceled cruise price. My canceled cruise was only $2000 since it was a 4 night on the fantasy. I thought it would only go towards a deposit for the Norwegian fjord cruise but it should actually cover half of the cruise fare! Pretty stoked about the September pricing for European cruises!

Me too! I'm waiting to hear from my TA but I've been doing some pricing for people on the DCL thread and the prices look (for DCL) dare I say...reasonable? Between my DGC and what I've already paid, about 70% of my fare should be covered. Whoo hoo! Norway, Iceland, Scotland here I come:Pinkbounc

ETA: not a mathy person...closer to 80% of my fare is already paid-whoo hoo!

I can't keep up anymore... which amex card gets you a credit on wireless payments? Would that be the Marriott?
