I always look up flights and seat configuration on seatgurudotcom- sometimes planes change but it’s a good starting point to get an idea if one plane type is preferred to another 😄
I spent most of the day on seat guru and looking at blogger reviews. Just wanted to see if anyone here had experiences. I trust you guys more than TPG or this new one I found Monkey Miles. Cute name lol.

@disfanforlife Thanks to my imaginary 4th dinner guest, I was able to change my Cape May reservation to 5:15 pm. Hopefully we’ll get to meet without you needing to stall your dinner. Disney IT sucks!
That’s great! Glad you were able to change it, this will be fun meeting up!!! We will have to figure out a way to recognize each other. I will probably be wearing some ears, I’ll let you know which ones that day and send you message.

@StephPlum Under $2 is definitely low! I didn't see a price that low all the way to Florida and back, but did snatch some sam's club gas in Florence, SC at $2.04 both ways. And, I used my $10 referral bonus to buy a box of trail mix packages. Karr's. Didn't even look around - grabbed the first thing I found.
Sam’s club is the lowest price for gas for me and that is $2.55 - most places around are $2.75!

Sam’s club was also bonkers today! So many people, way more than usual. Just got home, but I may have to go back out because I forgot to get my free beer. Free Stella Artois anyone?! 😍
I was at Sam’s today too. Same thing busy here, but I think it’s just a normal Saturday busy, I usually try to go mid week. Didn’t know about the free beer! Too late and too far for me to go back. Hope you got yours!

Finished at beaches and cream and now I’m laying in bed at POR before our dinner here. Dh went on a run because he’s had so much sugar today lol. He was bouncing off the walls.

We got quite a few good maternity pictures today and are doing the rest at MK tomorrow
Looks delicious!!! Glad you got some good pictures and have fun at MK!

Sounds good. I am pretty sure you will recognize my DS from my profile pic. And we’ll have on matching grey Test Track tees for his birthday.

Gas at our Sam's Club was $2.09 yesterday. CNBC said wait to fill if you can - it will be around $1.99 nationally soon.

I drive a pure electric, so no difference to me but my husband drives a Volt so he gets a little gas sometimes.

I have a raging sore throat today. Started getting it last night. Drainage from my ear infection I guess. Planning on laying low and catching up here and on Boarding Area.

Will we ever see another awesome signup bonus? I feel like we've been in a dry spell for forever...

My closest Sam's and Costco are $2.21 and $2.22.

But I filled in Ashland, Va back on February 22nd and I'm still over half full so no worries, and I've got about 12 gallons in cans from my last trip to fill my old van at Safeway back in January or early February. Van is also more than half full.

Probably won't need gas until my trip to Hilton Head in 2 weeks and I'll probably get it in Ashland again, depending on what I use between now and then. I get it at the Exxon near the Cracker Barrell. It's always 2 cents cheaper than the Shell which you get to first on the left. There is cheaper gas but this is the most convenient on/off spot (to me) and the guy at Exxon now recognizes me and is chatty early in the morning!

And, the potty is marginally clean as in at least they make some attempt to clean it each morning. TMI???

Had a little over 80k Marriott Points and was looking at the Swolphin to use these for a split stay this July. I had thought it was 50k per night, but was pleasantly surprised I found 40k, so I booked 2 SWAN nights.
this is good news! I'm hoping if I (ever) plan a trip back I hope to find some lower cost dates too.... (still officially mourning the good old days of 10k per night)

I started getting an itchy throat yesterday because our temperature keeps changing like crazy here. It was a high in the 60s yesterday and now it’s showing like 90 on Wednesday. Then it goes back down to the 60s and 40 at night. I’m already congested from being pregnant so all of the temperature changes aren’t helping

Did he stay on the main part of japan or did he go down to okinawa?

I feel like he went to Okinawa, but it’s been a while since I watched... he went to some super empty towns in the south, I remember that.

Just wanna share our DHS day today thus far:

7:10 left Swan
7:35 through tapstiles
8am- BOARDING GROUP 6!
8:15 walking on to TSMM rope drop
8:15 boarding group called
Husband and I both rode, him with rider swap so he could skip the queue.
9:15- asked GET to change our 8:15 TSMM FP+ to anytime since husband was still on RotR and they happily did
9:30- took turns riding MFSR w/ FP+
10:20- AS2 FP+ (taking turns w/ toddler)
10:50- lunch at Scifi
Then started our EXTRA FP+ and we have so far grabbed:
TSMM, AS2 x2, Little Mermaid Show, and Indiana Jones. Husband and toddler are doing racing academy now while baby naps w/ me ans then we will go do AS2 for the third time. It is probably a crowd level 10 today and hasn’t slowed us at all with diligent refreshing and a flexible attitude! I’ve seen every ride but SDD on refresh (and many times at that). Just wanted to share for those nervous about DHS during spring break.

Sounds similar to my day in terms of crowds/picking up FPs! It was packed but we still had a wonderful day. DH even commented that he had never seen it so crowded but somehow we still managed to do everything we wanted.

I went to Coscto and did a pretty big run tonight. I needed some things and I wanted to stock up a little, too.

Some stuff was really picked over like bleach and OTC meds. DH had to go to Lowe's so I went to look at the mask aisle (no we weren't looking to buy them) and they were picked clean. I took a photo.

At what point does Coronavirus explode so much that there aren't even more travel restrictions because it can't be contained? We are probably months from that, but still.
@BNODesk

BREAKING: Oregon's first patient with coronavirus is believed to have been infected through local human-to-human transmission, officials say
Yeaaaah, their place of work, a school!, is just a few towns over from where I live

Totally unrelated, I went to the store today to get to the next gas reward level for Safeway before the month ends. The store was packed! I do now have four gallons of milk and two loaves of bread so I should be good for two weeks. Lol

We went to Costco and Kroger yesterday. I don’t think Costco was anymore crowded than it normally is for a Saturday, but people were buying some crazy pants stuff. Sir, what are you going to do with 150 pounds of rice when the world doesn’t end??

Kroger, however, was bizarrely quiet. I’ve never seen that few people there on a Saturday.

I didn't realize that I could switch my companion for my CP until I got the card and info booklet from SW a couple weeks ago. DH and I both have our CP and have our DD's as companions. We are flying as a whole family in May (booked) and September (will book on the 12th,) and DH and I have a trip without the kids planned in August. DH and I are booked for our August trip on SW travel credits, so I was going to cancel his ticket now and rebook on points to save his place until I switch him to my companion after our May trip. I want to use DH's travel credit toward our September trip so it doesn't expire. I am planning to book DD with points on our September flight just to save her spots. Does this plan sound right? Since this is my first time with CP, I just want make sure I under stand switching companions before I cancel and rebook DH's August tickets.
Just be sure that if DH is on CP for a trip, that trip has to have passed( CP used) in order to change the name of CP to another person, you can't have two trips booked with different cp names at the same time....(Not sure I read the question right)

Wow, Costco is bananas today. I always go on Saturday morning right at opening and it’s usually pretty empty but today the parking lot is almost full And the lines just to get in are worse than holiday shopping. Wipes are handed out to everyone at the door. People are loading up on paper goods, water, cleaning supplies. I’m in Oregon and the affected person is at the Kaiser hospital a mile from my house. It’s hard not to get caught up in the hysteria.
Our Costco was similar, minus the hand wipes, yesterday. They were sold out of water! Target was almost entirely sold out of cold medicine , but we've had a tough cold and flu season, so who knows if that's Coronavirus related.

I spoke to my friend who I'm traveling with on the AK cruise. She is a primary care physician and similarly logic/statistically minded like me. Her (educated) opinion is that while Coronavirus isn't nothing, it is being hyped by the media and it shouldn't impact our trip. Hopefully she's right!
