Ugh... leaving in 26 days and I lost all 3 of our AP's. Called MS and they said just go to Guest Services and show ID and they'll be replaced, no questions asked...is this true?:confused3

Yes this is true. All you need is photo ID and they will cancel the old passes and issue new ones. We forgot ours at home once and had no problems at all getting replacements.

It's the easiest thing of all to lose!!! DH was really unhappy with me one time when we arrived at a park and I realized I had left everyone's AP's in my other bag. I smiled and said "no problem" (thanks to the DIS I knew what to do!) and it only took a few minutes before we all had AP's in hand and entered the gates.

Yes, when we bought our new ones they told us that just a photo ID would replace them!!! It used to not be that way and they used to tell you to save your receipt! I was so happy to hear this even though I never have lost one I could so see it happening.

Thanks for the post!!! I thought I lost my 10 day unused hoppers-- all 8 of them. I always keep a copy of them just in case, but its nice to know that we won't have a problem.

Have a great trip!!!! :wizard:

Thanks for asking this - I was going to pose a similar question today! I believe that I have left my WDW AP lying around somewhere in Germany - that's what I get for holding DL, WDW and DLRP APs all at the same time! ;)

Real Germany or Epcot Germany? Just how many steins did you have in you anyway??? ;)

REAL Germany!!! :rotfl2: But I like Epcot Germany too.... (but real Germany is still better - more chocolate, more alcohol)

And I was recently in REAL France too - maybe that is where I left my AP?

It really is that easy. I lost my AP on New Year's Eve at the base of Mt. Everest (the Animal Kingdom one, not the one in Nepal) and replaced it the next day at Disney Studios Guest Services. Just showed some photo ID and had a new AP printed and ready to go!

Hoppers are not the same thing as AP for replacements. With the ap they enter all your personal info when you purchase them, name, address, etc. Other park tickets, hoppers, are not replaced w. id.

With hoppers, you do need the receipt if you lost them, or copy the back of them so they can possibly print you up new ones, w/ whats remaining on the ticket.

I left our APs at FP machines at Dinosaur once. After searching for them, and no luck, we got them re-issued at Guest Relations at the front of the park. No hassle, just a photo ID.

I can confirm that for lost Park Hoppers, you can go to guest services but they will ask to see your receipt (or the back of the tickets) plus ID. We leave Sunday and guest relations will be our first stop!

In October I left one of our tickets (park hopper) in the hotel room safe. I had the receipt for the ticket with me. A nice lady at the front ticket counter of MGM quickly replaced the ticket for us. I didn't show an ID if I remember correctly. My DB was disappointed because they issued him a paper ticket instead of the plastic type.

I am a "mature" grandma of 6. DH and I were at WDW 2 years ago for the first day of what was to be 23 visits in one year. I had purchased our AP vouchers months before and exchanged them for our AP's approximately 3 hours before I lost mine. We were staying at BWV and had walked over to the rear EPCOT guest relations to exchange the vouchers for tickets. After a quick bite to eat at Beaches and Cream we hopped a bus to MK. As soon as we got into MK we boarded the train for a ride around MK. I had placed my AP in my pocket. As we were passing Space Mountain and heading into the Main Street Station, I pulled my MK event schedule from my pocket and out FLEW my AP----down from the train and off to the side of the tracks. Needless to say, DH was very unhappy with me. (I wasn't concerned because I read the DIS and knew that we weren't out over $400 for a lost ticket!). When we disembarked from the train, we told one of the engineers what had happened. He got another CM to walk the tracks to near Space Mountain while we waited in front of Main Street Station and watched the afternoon parade. Soon here came the CM with my pass! We tried to offer him a tip but he refused. It was only then that I told DH that we could have had the AP replaced with a trip to Guest Relations. Since that trip we have been to WDW many times and now DH carries all the tickets and paperwork.

Something that helps me.... For DVC they sell card carrying cases (but you can find them in regular stores too) which are made for swimming pools. You wear it around you neck and it can get wet and is hard and basicially is like a wallet to wear around your neck. If you own DVC, (or just go to one of the resorts) you can find one, but I think many other stores both on and off property sell them. At Disney, they were just $5. I just throw it in my box when I get home and its good to go come our next trip.
