XANADU, HOME OF THE FUTURE!!

Actually, it's 2 minutes away by car. What a scary, scary place this is. It's so run down and horrible looking, even more so now than this photo shows. It's been closed for years. It would make for a great haunted house though.

Is that the place on #192 in Kissimmee? If so, I always wanted to stop and take a look but we were always headed to a restaurant and then to Old Town to see the cars. Have you been inside it?

We toured that back in the early '80's! Wier house, but I'll bet it would make a great gift shop or restaurant!

My cousin and I insisted on going to the one in Wisconsin Dells when we were about 10 (20 years ago). I remember wanting a house just like that. Can you imagine

I always wanted to visit this place, but never took the time. I hope they don't tear it down. Its a very unique structure and a good reminder of what we thought was furturistic in the 70's and early 80's.
