That if you are 35, you are "old and creepy".

DH and I went to a Brewers game and tailgated. Well, the group next to us was 3 girls, 3 guys and they were probably in their mid-20's.

They were discussing someone that hangs out at their apartment that they don't like.

I believe the exact quote was "Brian? Ugh, I don't like him. He's old and creepy. He's like what? 35?"

I almost spit my pop out. I was trying very hard not to laugh and finally gave up and let it go.

So now that's become our running joke between DH and I. I still crack up when I think of how disgusted that kid was when he said it.

I was seeing a guy who is 38, 10 years older than me. I SO put my foot in my mouth one day:

Me: "Remember the 'hot' girl from 'American Pie', Shannon Elizabeth?"

Him: "Yup."

Me: "Here's a picture of her ex-husband. Ugh...he looks creepy...he must be, what, 10 years older than her?"

I got a really funny look; good thing SO has a good sense of humor!
