OR - to book or not to book!

Hi!

The best fare I see flying out of the Cleveland area (akron) on December
20th to MCO is $262 p/p, which includes taxes and fees. This is through Priceline (United/Delta combo). I've checked them all!

What would you do? Book or wait...?

Over on the other side of the state from we 99.9% fly out of Detroit. $262 sounds good from my point of view, as DTW-MCO R/T flights for Thanksgiving are $400+. Waiting for SW and Airtran to come out, was a little disapointed in Spirit prices.

IMHO if I saw that price for Thanksgving I would have already booked my tickets. How do prices usually run out of Cleveland to Orlando for the holiday period? Is that good?

I don't know what the usual airfare is to MCO. We have only flown to SFO to visit family....Our first trip to WDW.

My friend here that flies down to MCO has said Airtran usually has great rates. She has flown down there for $160 r/t p/p. BUT...never at Christmas, and that was a few years ago.

She says I'm nuts to book my flight 9 months out, but I am even more afraid that all the flights will be booked, nevermind paying more.

DH tells me to book it and don't look back.......
