I don't have an IPod (or IPhone). We are Microsoft folks, and we have Zunes. I'd love to download the podcast, but it isn't available on the Zune marketplace. There are lots of other WDW podcasts (WDW Today, WDW Radio, etc), but not the DIS.

Are you planning on making the DIS podcast available on Zune Marketplace, or is there a way to download it off of ITunes and onto my Zune?? Help a non- IPod user out here!! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

I have a Sansa Fuze, just a regular old MP3 player and have no trouble at all downloading the podcasts with just a right click of my mouse.

I use a Sansa mp3 player and I download the podcast thru iTunes. Then I just open the folder where it's located in drag it into my player. I would assume you click on the download button and then move to your player.

It is good to hear I am not the only Microsft person. I was begining the think that I was the only Zune user.

Adding the DIS Unplugged to the Zune software is really easy. Just copy and paste the XML address to the Zune software under the podcast tab. I think the button to do this is on the left side under the Icons for your current podcast subscription. (I am not sure since I am sitting in a hospital typing this on my Windows Mobile Phone.)

I love my Zune wouldn't trade it for any other media player and using the XML address you can listen to any podcast, even if it is not in the Zune market place.

Well, I might be getting close, but I still can't get it.

I go to the RSS/XML tab and right click on the episode I want. Then I copy it. I go onto Zune and under podcasts, click on the "add a podcast" button. It tells me to type the URL I want to add. I copy it onto the line. An icon comes up under the podcasts I have subscribed to, but there is an error message alert on it. When I click on it, it says the podcast cannot be added because the feed is too large.

What am I doing wrong??

Are you using this address...

http://www.wdwinfo.com/podcast/unplugged.xml

If you use that address, it should then show you all avaialbe episodes. then you click download, or you can set it to keep a certain nuber of episodes. right click on the podcast image in order to change the podcast settings. If you are still having trouble, I will see what is happening when I get home. My wife and newborn should be release from the hospital today!

I have read a few reviews and articles for the new Zune HD that is arriving soon. They love the new device, the video is awesome, the browsing is great and the look and feel is spectacular! It is Wi-Fi, no phone, but do I really want to run out of battery power just to watch a video or listen to music, then when I need to make a phone call I cannot because of no power.

Looks like it will give the itouch a real run for the money.

Hey, I am an avid Zune user as well. :thumbsup2 I am able to download the DIS Unplugged podcast through the Zune software (even though it is not listed in the Marketplace anymore :(). I will see if I can get you the link to use and will send you the steps to set up the automated download. Stay tuned.

Thanks, Bill. I will try- I think I was trying to add the whole feed, not just one particular episode. Will try again, and keep my fingers crossed.

I don't use itunes or zune marketplace. I use Juice, you enter the RSS feed address and is pulls in the files. Then you can move it to whatever device you have.

My wife has an ipod, a gift from work. She uses WinAmp with the ipod plugin to click and drag files to the ipod. I use my BB and just put the mp3's on the sd chip using windows explorer.

The nice part of using a program like Juice is you are not dependent on just itunes or marketplace, you are pulling directly from the source itself. Every week people keep saying "it's not on itunes", I never have that problem, because all itunes is is a middleman for getting the content. If itunes is down or any other problems it affects all their users. You don't have that problem when when you get the files direct from the source. Plus it is simple to click and drag only what you want listen to without another piece of software getting in the way.

Aaargh! I hate that I am so computer-challenged!! I am becoming frustrated trying to figure this out.

Every time I try to add the podcast to my Zune by cut/pasting in the URL, it tells me it can't do that because the feed is too large.

I went on the main DIS unplugged page and just downloaded the show and saved it in my downloads file. I can get it to play on Windows media player, but I can't sync it to my Zune, because Windows Media isn't recognizing my Zune as a plugged in device. I have it attached to my computer's USB port, but the sync screen still says "attach device". I tried unplugging then replugging it in, but it still isn't recognizing it.

I feel dumb.

Not dumb - probably a glitch somewhere. Someone will post an idea on how to fix it.

I just tried it on a new Zune account and it seemed to work fine. Make sure that you are pasting http://www.wdwinfo.com/podcast/unplugged.xml in the field when you click to add a new podcast. After a few seconds, the list of available episodes should pop up as well as the podcast icon. Let me know if you are still having trouble. Good luck. :thumbsup2

OH! I will try that- I have been pasting just the episode URL...

Off to see if it works (crossing my fingers...)!
