My neice is crazy about Ariel. We are taking a family trip in a few weeks and we are in desperate need of an Ariel Gown. WE do not want the mermaid looking costume. So my question is... How expensive are the gowns at Disney??? I know they would be expensive. I have found a beautiful Ariel Wedding gown on ebay brand new and it says it is a disney exlcusive for 70 bucks plus about 9.00 is shipping. We are desperate now so does that sound like a good deal??? My neice is also big for her age. She is 6 and needs a Large (7-10). I was just wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me if I should just go ahead and purchase the one on ebay??????

Seventy Bucks seems really high to pay for a princess dress- but if you want one before you go to Disney, that may be your only option. The Disney Halloween costumes are in the stores late July, if you are gonig after that, you can wait and see what they have. They usually run about $35-40. At the parks the dresses generally run about $55-60. An Ariel wedding dress may run more as it seems to be one of the speciality dresses. Good Luck in finding something cheaper!

We got my DD the wedding gown last year and i'm thinking it was somewhere around $60...My husband wouldn't have paid anymore than that...good luck

I thinkt that price sounds pretty fair as long as it is an actual disney store or disney world item and not some knock off cheap halloween costume. I would go for it if that is what your niece really wants. Disney often changes it inventory and might not have exactly what you are looking for. Another option would be to call the World of Disney store and ask if they carry one and for how much. Not sure how easy that would be though. I have always had a UPC # of something I wanted to purchase (you can purchase it over the phone). Good luck!

I think the weddibg dress is about $60+. I got my dd the mermaid one and that was $60. and the wedding dress is far more detail. depending on what hotel you are staying at you could buy at the gift shop or at anyof the parks or down town disney. I was there begin of May not sure how quick they turn over their stuff., but with the bbb I think the dresses will be there.
