It's snowing out and my DD is watching Peter Pan, does anyone else for sorry for "Nana" the dog when the father kicks her out? :( I wish I had a dog like Nana.

I know what you mean, Nana was such a sweet dog, she didn't deserve that kind of treatment.

Seems like a lot of Disney movies have sad moments like that. Like when a parent dies (Nemo, Bambi, Lion King).

The worst IMO is Dumbo. I cannot watch that movie. Just too sad. :(

Yes, I agree. She's such a sweet dog. But as someone else said, Disney always has a sad or scary part in their movies. And they seem to deal with single parenthood alot too.

Did you know that in early development of the movie, Nana went to Neverland with them? I don't know why they changed it.

I have 3 NANA'S The original Peter Pan Nana was a Newfoundland. Disney for some reason changed the color so she is not a newf anymore.

Having 3 Newfoundlands I have to tell you. leaving them in the house when its cold out is hard to do. My 3 will wine and cry intill you open the door so they can run and play in the cold. Our oldest is 8 and its a pitty when we make him come in the house. Thor just looks at you with those sad eyes that you know are saying to please let me camp out tonight. LOL

Sorry kids, Mom wont let you stay out in the cold all night even if its what you really want to do !!!!
